This is for me the best campground near Page with great facilities, clean and tidy, modern, and a truly great view on lake Powell and direct access to the marina and lake. Was quite empty in late October but definitely worth! Both RV and tents sites are available. Full connection, bbq and fire pit in every spot. From here you are few miles away from Page, Antelope Canyons and Horseshoe bend. Great choice.

Wahweap RV Park was the 96th stop for us and stayed 10 night to see Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend and other area attractions. If you have an rv and a vehicle but one National Park Pass, you will need to pay an additional $30 for the weekly pass as you enter the National Recreation Area, even if you have reservations. Unfortunately, it took one hour and 15 minutes for check in as there was one person at the desk, some confusion as to whether or not the site was cleared and a long line each of the three times I had to come back. But Jessica was working hard to try to take care of my stuff, people in the store and a host of other things. The site we were assigned was amazing with a view of the lake and spectacular scenery just outside our door. The facilities are fairly new and the park layout is well done with decent space between sites. The roads are paved as are the pads so no issue with leveling. There are also numerous sidewalks throughout the park which makes it interesting for the us and the dogs. WiFi was non-existent for us but was able to use the Verizon jet pack. In terms of connectivity (mid day on weekend): T-Mobile no service; Verizon 10.5 down/0.31 up.

We booked our stay at Lake Powell at the Wahweap campground. The water in the lake is extremely low but you take your chances with nature. The majority of the showers were out of order which I can understand as the low water levels are keeping a lot of tourists away. What really disappointed me was the attitude of the people working at the registration/store. You would think that with tourism down they would be personable and friendly to the people who are here. They were not! They said their speil when we checked in not caring if we understood or not. Their attitude was condescending. One lady checking out our small grocery order of 2 bags of ice and half gallon of milk actually chuckled when we questioned the $18.50 charge for these items. It isn't the employee's fault if the facilities are lacking but it doesn't cost anything to be nice.

Best campground I have ever visited. Awesome convenient store. Modern and very clean facilities. Well designed setting. Beautiful views. Top customer service. Both camping and RV sites are spacious. Bathrooms are centrally located. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for one night in an RV at a full hook up site, The restroom facilities were nearby & clean. The site had a fire pit & grill which we made use of. We did not use the shower facilities on site as we were told you have to pay for them & they were also not working properly, so only cold water available. The campground was quiet & we enjoyed looking at the stars at night! We found the map we were given a little confusing to navigate around the marina area, but we found the swimming area of the lake in the end.

Disgusting site. Arrived there, stepped out of the RV and was surrounded by cockroaches. Absolutely everywhere, all over the picnic bench. Left immediately and had to stay in a hotel as there was no where else. Complained to the campground and asked for a refund as we couldn’t stay there and it took them a month to get back and say it doesn’t warrant a refund. Disgusting service to match the site.

Disgusting! We arrived and our pitch was CRAWLING with cockroaches!!!! Even my husband who isn’t usually freaked out by things wanted to get the heck out of there! I don’t know if it was just a one-off but there’s no way we could’ve stayed there - we didn’t want an infestation in our rental camper van!!! And to make matters worse, they haven’t even had the decency to return our email and refund us the $88 dollars we paid for the privilege of not staying there!!! Avoid, it’s not worth the hassle of trying to get your money back & finding somewhere else to stay.

Very clean. Some rude pet owners did not pick up after their dog. I don’t blame the park for that. Bathrooms and showers where spotless. People at the office where helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back

This campground is inside the Glen Canyon Natl Recreation Area - a fee area. So there is a fee to get onto the property unless you have a National Parks pass. PLUS, it is run by a concessionaire who does NOT accept the passes. Not made clear to me when I made a reservation. $30/night for a dry site - $88 for full hookups. At Lake Mead Natl Rec Area, we paid $10/night for a dry site. I felt the phone reservation agent misled me - front desk people were rude. Left message for supervisor who never returned my call. I was expecting to pay half with my senior pass. Once there, there was a fee to cancel 2nd night. Grrr! This experience tainted my whole trip to Page. It’s not what it once was. The lake is drying up and it is past its heyday. So disappointed!!

*Very happy about cleanliness in restrooms! Opened 24/7! *Showers cost (bummer) *Water level extremely low in lake, so drive to boat launch and walk down to lake *Close to attractions, stores, & gas *Close to Lone Rock Beach *Quiet and peaceful

Nothing open for water sport expect you have your own.The restaurant is open for take out and outdoor seating. If you just like sit in here and watch all the boats drive away. That’s enjoyable thing to do , too !

Very busy with takeout only. Serving only pizza, but the pizza was very good, and the salad that came with the family meal deal was very good also. Came with chocolate chip cookies that tasted homemade and very rich. We saw some low reviews, but we thought they did a good job.
