I'm a local. This store was Recently updated and renovated. Subway and pizza for food court. Store is small and limited compared to larger city, but that's just it... This is a great Walmart for it being in the middle of beautiful nowhere in the desert ! Things can sometimes get crazy in the summer. Lots of bus tours and people shopping for houseboat vacations and camping. Certain supplies can sometimes get sold out. The purchases is good. The items stock are good, all but the money center. As I dont have a physical address I cant recieve money order from there. Before it was just my ID nothing else and it only has my p.o. box so that's what i hate about it. Was told it changed 8 months ago and i received money from there before 8 months. That's my only problem about it.

When we started full-time traveling in an RV, we dreaded the idea of staying in a Walmart parking lot. It seemed so trashy and not "camping" at all. But we actually really enjoy parking lots now. They're often flat, clean and a great place for the kids to ride around on their bikes.
