Such a classic location and always wonderful food. Willing to make adjustments to menu items ( I am a vegetarian, so they were happy to switch the bacon for avocado on my Eggs Benedict.) Our server, Tyler, was very attentive and made our experience joyful!
Our server, Vicki, was bright, cheerful, and provided stellar service. The lemon ricotta pancakes were absolutely delicious in both taste and texture - the lemon flavor came through nicely without overpowering. My wife enjoyed the breakfast tamale bowl commenting the tamales were the best she's ever had. They were light, fluffy, and with just the right amount of spice. The fruit plate presentation was almost too beautiful to eat, and was equally tasty with the prickly pear yogurt. We are already planning our next visit!
El Chorro has been a family favorite for many years. The thoughtful blend of updating the menu but keeping fan favorites is critical to keeping loyal customers like us coming back year after year.
El Chorro was awesome. Everything about it—atmosphere, service, food, all of it. We will be back soon. We celebrated our 29 wedding anniversary there and they brought us a complimentary dessert. I highly recommend having a meal here.
Needs to work on coffee, it came cold and flavorless. The salmon egg benedict could have been a little warmer. Overall, great experience.
We have been to El Chorro many times. This Sunday we went for their brunch. There was no egg dish on the menu—you had to order the items from the “sides” menu, which seemed very odd to us. As always, the food and service were good, but they should really consider bringing back at least one egg/bacon/toast entree to the Sunday brunch menu.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Scottsdale, love the atmosphere, service and food.
I just attended a 50th Wedding Anniversary party at El Chorro. The bartender was amazing, and the wait staff was above reproach. The wedge salad was amazing, the chicken was way too dry, but the sea bass was to die for. Great job, El Chorro, I will be back one day…maybe with a date 😉
The food is always outstanding, they do the best Sea Bass in the valley, hard to order anything else it's so good. And the STICKY BUNS!!!! Jackson was our server... what a gem!!!
We enjoyed our dinner. Great service and atmosphere. The food was excellent. I would recommend it to all my family and friends..

Quality and selection of food was horrible!Summer poor in Scottsdale-beef stroganoff chicken pot pie and roasted chicken .Prices are steep but the preparation was poor.
Great service, and enjoyed the history and ambience. Perfect place for our anniversary dinner.
Everything was amazing! We arrived early and had a drink at the bar. Then we went to the patio for dinner. Our server, Jackie was wonderful- so funny and efficient and full of energy. She was bopping around making sure everyone was happy and fed! Loved the evening!
Excellent service from moment we arrived. Food - perfect. Outstanding guest service provided to us by Ty!!
It has been awhile since we’ve ate there and it was our Anniversary and my wife wanted to go there. The service has fallen abit due to availability of good servers we had a good one but she was covering all the patio. She ordered the lobster special for $81.00 I have never seen lobster served in cubes, was it even lobster? My filet was just okay the Caesar salad for $19.00 was pathetic cut Romaine lettuce with hardly any dressing and no Anchovies, they did not have any and the complimentary choc cake was dry and poorly presented.
