Excellent people & service. Very very accommodating.
I ordered my first Habeneros food via Uber Eats while I was away from home. I had a suboptimal but not truly negative experience. The ordering process was easy. I was able to specify what I wanted and modify it to my tastes via the Uber Eats link to the restaurant
The time for the delivery lengthened a bit but I expected a little offset.
What I didn't expect was that half of my food would be missing.
I had, oddly, ordered a breakfast burrito for the next day, but it became my dinner when it was the only thing that arrived, other than chips and condiments. I am happy to say that it was delicious. The tortilla chips were crisp and gently salted. The pico and guacamole were both fresh and tasty. I'm sure my enchiladas would have also been very good...but I did not receive them.
I contacted the restaurant who was able to find my order and acknowledged that the enchiladas were not sent out. OK, stuff happens.
I was a bit hangry but the breakfast burrito was good and shut down the mean ol' witch.
My issue was that there was no contingency plan in place at the restaurant to ensure that the customers needs were met. The representative seemed very willing to help me, but none of the suggestions were workable for me.
She did offer to make a note for my next order, but I'm visiting and that didn't work.
I got the impression that a refund wasn't going to happen and no other delivery would be made.
So that's the reason for the review. Pretty good food (what I had), very nice representative, but unclear policy about dissatisfied customers. 3 stars seems fair to me, but 4 given because the food I ate was good and the people were nice.
This is my favorite restaurant in the entire valley! I used to live nearby and come here a lot and I live in Mesa now, which is a 40 minute drive for me. But I still make the drive at least twice a month because you can't beat the flavors, friendliness, excellent service and amazing food. Taco Tuesday!
It’s been a long time since I’ve been here, and I finally came back for breakfast instead of my usual lunch. I tried the chilaquiles with chorizo for the first time and wow they were seriously amazing. This place always delivers with fresh food, great salsa, and awesome service.
The food was good, not great. the service was ok but wait to get our food took a bit long because they were more focused on making the to go orders. They were not busy at all as we were the only in restaurant customers at the time. I hope that is not what happens regularly. Glad we tried it though.
This place has a 4.5-star rating but feels more like a 3.2 to me. It aligns with some other reviews in the Scottsdale area, which makes me think diners here might have lower standards for good food.
The food itself was a 2.5 out of 5. They don’t offer complimentary chips and salsa—you have to pay extra if you want them with guacamole. The restaurant’s setup is awkward, like a mix between self-serve and dine-in, and it just doesn’t work. Having the fountain machine right next to the tables while trying to maintain a dine-in waitressing style is odd and poorly thought out.
My advice: pick a clear setup and stop skimping on basics like chips and salsa. I won’t be coming back unless I feel like dealing with a headache.

This place is amazing! It's hands down the best Mexican food I've had in years of living in Arizona. The food is fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I ordered the taco salad, which came in a freshly fried taco shell bowl packed with a variety of fresh veggies—so good!
The service was super fast, and they brought out three types of salsa that were all incredibly tasty. Definitely a highlight.
My only minor complaint was a strange smell in the dining area—it seemed like either dirty mop water or strong cleaning products. Not sure where it was coming from, but it was noticeable.
Even so, I’ll absolutely be back. The food more than makes up for it! Highly recommend.

Not that great compared to other Mexican places. No pico de gallo, no real salsa, you pay for chips and fast food type salsa, a tablespoon of cheese in your burrito, unbelievably dangerous parking where no one stops when backing out, trucks huge trucks are parking by where you patk. Really subpar.
This tiny place is awesome! The food's amazing, perfectly seasoned. That carne asada taco was incredible – the meat was so good, it didn't even need salsa. The atmosphere's great too; the salsas are good, though the habanero one was way too spicy and lacked flavor. But that green salsa? Perfect!
