Fantastic food and Valentin provided delicious recommendations and wonderful service. The atmosphere makes you forget you are in a strip mall. We are excited to have such a great Indian restaurant so close to our house and look forward to visiting again soon!

Wonderful upscale Indian dining experience. I had the vegetarian chef’s tasting menu and the kitchen was happy to prepare it dairy-free. Every dish was beautifully presented with excellent flavors, and the service and ambience were both fantastic.

Finally! An Indian restaurant in the valley offering Michelin cadre food, ambiance and service.
Being from the east and north of India, I’m a hard critic of North Indian cuisine.
So I decided to order the staples and my mind was blown.
The Dal Bukhara was just like the ones you get in Delhi/ Punjab wow!! ( slow cooked over night )!!,
the homestyle butter chicken with the garlic nan were absolutely like they make at home at the Dhabas… took me back to my college days when we would head to a national route side dhaba/ pitstop for some of the best local food in North India..

The star of the show was the Tandoori platter - the lamb chop and the prawn were cooked to perfection… the spice mix was just right and the lamb was done medium rare… I was told Chef Ajay has constructed a real tandoor and I could tell by the smokie-ness in the meat!!!
Now, I need to specifically mention the chai latte icecream with the famous and forever favourite Parle-G cookie (every one of us Indian know how amazing those are) with a homemade breadbudding —- simply wow… I had to call my mom that night tell her about the same cause she used to cook that all the time 💕💕
We were stuffed but we ordered the Phirnis which were serve in little clay pots… just like the local sweet shops in India !!!
Last but not the least, was the Filter Kaapi (coffee) served the local South Indian way. I had to show my friend how to drink it … the southern style and she was naturally so intrigued!!
Overall the food is same as some of the Michelin star Indian dishes I have had in NYC like Dhishoom and Adda.

Chef Ajay, thank you for the amazing food. I have one request - will you please introduce some Bengali dishes as well like Luchi and goat meat OR the famous Daab Chingri or Malai Prawns … 🙏💕
Special shoutout to Andrea for all the recommendations :)

Just incredible! I had the chef's tasting menu, and it was phenomenal! (Took away any intimidation about ordering unfaamiliar dishes, and provided a wide range of dishes and tastes.) The service is wonderful and my server was so helpful and knowledgeable. Super comfortable place, too. Can't say enough great things about Indibar.

Best Indian food I've had outside of my family's kitchen and the motherland. The subtle fusion touches to the authentic flavors in every dish really elevate the experience! Wonderful service and gorgeous ambience. Can't wait to come back!

Beautiful restaurant sandwiched in a strip mall. I enjoy exploring new cuisines, but I’m on the picky side, so I get a little anxious trying new things. My girlfriend enjoyed some exotic cocktails while I stuck with bottled beer. The hamachi crudo is unique and a must-try; it had a beautiful presentation and we received excellent service from Andrea.
The butter chicken and garlic naan were hands down the best I’ve ever had! Chef Nigel even came out to introduce himself, which was extremely nice and a great personal touch. We sat in the Lehr room, where the energy is a bit more 'low-key' and the decor is absolutely stunning. It was the perfect atmosphere to actually converse with and enjoy my date. Looking forward to going back soon!

Upscale Indian cuisine in Arizona? Wow this place was great - the butter chicken and Rogan Josh lamb shank were delicious! And our waiter, Valentin was really terrific - studious, knowledgeable, great service all around.

Unique and flavorful indian food. Our server henry was also an exceptional gentlemen who really catered to us. It's an upscale expensive place but the food is very good. We ate only vegetarian and the few options they had were pretty good! Recommend to reserve in advance as it gets crowded.

If you’re looking for one of the best dining experiences in Scottsdale, look no further than Indibar. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale and welcoming. The space feels modern yet warm — ideal for date night, celebrations, or just treating yourself to something exceptional.
The food is next-level. Every dish is beautifully presented and layered with bold, authentic Indian flavors while still feeling refined and elevated. You can tell there’s real intention behind the menu — from the perfectly spiced curries to the fresh-baked naan and thoughtfully crafted small plates. Even the cocktails are standout — creative, balanced, and clearly designed to complement the cuisine.

The service is just as impressive. The staff is attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food and drinks. They make great recommendations and ensure your experience feels personalized.

Scottsdale has no shortage of restaurants, but Indibar truly stands out. It’s the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit.
Highly recommend!

If you are a person of color, I would not recommend going here. Our food service was slow or “placed on hold”. The waitress gave backhanded complements the entire meal. She even had the audacity to ask why were NOT sucking the bone of a lamb chop. As if we were animals! The manager Seth greeted and checked on every table but ours. The food could have been great if the service was so bad. It’s true what they say attitude reflects leadership!

Great space and atmosphere. Kaali peeli cocktail was lovely, simple yet flavorful and very India inspired with black salt. Lamb chops were brilliant and so well done. They were out of the Rogan Josh which is what we wanted to have but had the chicken (dum ka murg) which was okay, didn’t enjoy as much as I’d hoped. The winner was the dessert - chai biskoot, inspired by classic India tea and biscuit duo. Highly recommend

Loved the ambience, the service and the sumptuous food. We ate the best meal in Scottsdale at the Indibar. Everything we ordered was delicious, the servers were knowledgeable and the owners talked to each patron as it was a busy Valentine’s Day dinner. We appreciated the personal touch. I will be going back a few more times before I go back to Maine.
