Authentic Western saloon. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, good eats. Never so crowded that you can't find a seat at the bar or a table for four. Holiday visitors draw live entertainment. Good ol' boys sittin' at the bar dispense local wisdom. Big screen sports, when big games are happening. All in all, a friendly place if you're headed south and west on your way to Sonoita and Tucson; or north and east to busy Nogales (Arizona or Mexico), historic Tubac & Tucomcori ... and Tucson.

Good food, nice and quiet area. We would love to be back, and we'll definitely recommend it! We visited on lur way to Patagonia lake.

Stopped in for a beer. Found the best homemade chips and salsa! Mexican pizza was delicious. Country music playing in background while 3 tv's showing sports. Bar is awesome. Cute red and white table clothed dining tables. Service was great. Very friendly people. Bern there twice in last month. Looking forward to returning.

The Wagon Wheel Saloon was a great spot on our road trip through Arizona. I had the best tacos ever at this spot. The salsa and beans were delicious. I highly recommend this place. It also has a great old school vibe.

Limited places to eat in Patagonia Arizona on a Monday night but the food and service here were really good. I enjoyed my chicken enchiladas. Vintage rustic interior with an enjoyable atmosphere. The jukebox music just happened to be excellent.

Place is a local hole in the wall saloon that has very good burgers. Try the beer battered onion rings also! Rojelio the barkeep was awesome.

if you are passing through Patagonia this is a worthy place to grab lunch. fun! it is "rustic" so you don't have to wear your best clothes and Bikers and hikers are welcomed along with everyone else.

Disgusted. Tried to call before walking over for dinner on Saturday and no one answered the phone for 30 minutes - then they took the phone off the hook because I got the disconnected tone so we took the chance and walked over from the hotel around 5pm. We were a large group & the man behind bar said that we would not be served. I explained that we would be very patient and eat in shifts - as we wanted to stay and karaoke. I was rudely refused. Asked to speak with a manager or owner and he said "that would make him look bad" and they would not serve or cook for us - no real reason given. Discrimination against women? Bikers? Maybe just a rude SOB - I don't know but HUGE mistake. We walked down the road to the Wildhorse Restaurant and had a great meal in a cool place. Stay away from the Wagon Wheel - guess they don't need the business.

Two visits with family members. First was breakfast and exploring lakes in the area. It was great and there were five men of different ages in tow and they were all happy campers with the meals, me too! Then returned for lunch a week later with the girls for lunch and drinks. Bartender was great, food was great then too. We will all be back.

Probably ambiance was not anything special, but the food was great! The hamburgers were large and well cooked and the french fries were really great, really hot and crisp. The bar keep was friendly and helpful, and it was very convenient location for going on down to Patagonia lake.

My husband and I live in the area and have supported this business by coming here. We've brought friends and family. After our last experience we will not be coming here or bringing friends and family anymore. Wagon Wheel has lost our business! The sign says open breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a sign that says open everyday at 6:30am. I went to open the door and it was locked. I called and the man who answered was rude. He says there's a sign that says we're closed and won't open until noon (fifteen mins). Right by the door on right side the sign said open not closed. I thought no worries. I won't let this mans attitude stop us from bringing our son. So we went to Ovens to get a shake while waiting for Wagon Wheel to open. We come back to Wagon Wheel fifteen mins later and my son still had his shake. As soon as we walk in the man at bar didn't greet us. First thing he says is "no outside drinks" with an attitude. I completely understand no outside drinks but I made the comment that we only have the shake because we were waiting for Wagon to open and we are supporting the town. He says "well you're not supporting us!" First off yes we are supporting Wagon Wheel. We have for years! And secondly we were getting ready to buy a meal for three adults plus drinks which was giving even more support! This man was very rude! He was rude on the phone when I called about the hours and he was rude in person! My son left to take his shake out and during the time the man came over with crumpled, dirty paper menus and napkins he slapped down on the table. He didn't say one word nor get drink orders. He put me us and napkins down and walked away. We waitid and then decided we didn't want to be here. So back to Ovens of Patagonia to eat. Where the staff are super friendly and from here on out will get our business! Wagon Wheel Saloon has unprofessional staff/owners and no customer skills at all!

We enjoyed a meal here on a weekend afternoon. The food was good, the bartender was friendly, and I enjoyed the jukebox. We would return.
