This is where I get my beloved shredded beef enchilada when i am visiting my hometown. I have been coming here for over 40 years.El Rancho never disappoints. This is the first time that I order this enchilada style with the green sauce and the dish was extra fabulous.

I had the chicken and beans burrito and it was excellent! The nachos are great too! Definitely coming back!

The service was great. Our waitress was on it and fast. Our food came out really fast for a table of 7 on a Friday night but didn’t have any flavor and our beans were thick and dry. Completely bland meat. The salsa seemed like tomatoes, onion and cilantro. No spice. We asked for a spicy one and that one wasn’t spicy either. Our margaritas didn’t even taste like they had an alcohol, like they were watered down.
The food seemed fairly bland but it was ok. Cheese crisp with green chili was very good.

A perfect go to place that's always friendly. Our group meets there every Tuesday. We start some beverages. My favorite is their house Margarita. Most of the time we have dinner as well. They offer many choices from their great menu.

At the suggestion of a friend, boasting of having enjoyed a good taco at El Rancho, I graced the restaurant doorway after a 50 year absence. The atmophere was something my deceased parents would have enjoyed. I think the last time I was there, was with them.Seated with my adult daughter and grandson, we began munching our tacos. SAD. It was a sad taco, when it didn't have to be, as a decent taco is easy enough to add the passion that holds so much promise. The ground beef taco was flavorless and meat texture, limp. How can a taco be this sad, lacking authenticity?My daughter reminded me that although Caucasian, I was not white, having grown up as a minority in East LA, where the town's scent reeked spice and flavor, transporting one to robust pleasure for as long as one lingered at the table; where the Hispanic spirit of the hands that prepared food were intentional, making something simple, great.
