Wear a neon sign after you give your name at the counter. Sitting in close proximity or direct eye contact wont get you called in the order taken
We came about a half an hour before closing on a Sunday. So i completely understand why my fish was hollow and dry. I'll be back. I've heard good things about their food from family. Can't judge from one experience.

Johnny & Dee’s Picnic Basket is hands down one of the best breakfast spots around. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with a warm, small-town atmosphere that just feels right.
The food was incredible—fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. Everything came out fast, hot, and exactly how you’d want a great breakfast to be.
What really sets this place apart though is the experience. The service is friendly, attentive, and genuine—you feel like a regular even on your first visit.
While I was there, owner and professional fisherman Johnny Johnson took the time to come over and personally greet everyone at our table, which really speaks to the kind of place this is—authentic, welcoming, and truly customer-focused.
If you’re looking for a go-to breakfast spot with amazing food and an even better atmosphere, Johnny & Dee’s Picnic Basket is it. I’ll definitely be back.

This is a cute little place. I had the parmesan grilled cheese with bacon and green chilli with their homemade potato chips for lunch. It was great. My wife had been here before and suggested it. We would definitely go back again. Sorry, no pictures! I was so hungry I forgot 👀

I had eggs benedict here and It was really good. The service was fast, the staff friendly, and the food good. The English Muffin used seems to be homemade and is a really nice touch. I wish I could make EM( I've tried) but I can't even make sourdough bread successfully. I've been back since and will be in the future.

Absolutely the best biscuits and gravy anywhere! If you're really hungry, try 'Johnny's tackle box'. You won't be hungry after that. Ms. Dee's biscuits are over the top good and I'd put them up against anyone's.
