My husband and I tried this restaurant today for lunch based on reviews. The food was hot and fresh..Surprised they don't offer chips and salsa. My husband ordered a carne asada burrito and I ordered the carne asada plate.
We were so surprised to see such a small burrito for the price. It did have steak, but barely rice, no beans, little pico de gallo. My plate had enough but again for the price? Not enough. Overall it is an overpriced restaurant. We do not recommend it.

I don’t even know where to start, but I guess the first thing I noticed is this is probably the cleanest restaurant I have been in my life. But it does not stop there, it was my first time in and I did not know what to try so, I ordered a small quesadilla with a side of guacamole and a Sonoran dog.

Let me tell you, this is the best food I have ordered in quite some time. The Sonora dog alone, took my breath away with a super soft Bun tons of toppings that all go well together, I could’ve eaten three of those. The quesadilla was simple yet very tasty, but the kicker was the scratch made guacamole with fresh lemon. I could not stop eating it by the spoonful.

This is a must try in Prescott Valley, I will definitely be back!!

This is another hidden gem. We tried it out and was pleasantly surprised. The service was great...and the food was delicious.

Looking around the restaurant, it was clean and the outside seating patio area was clean. Definitely recommend stopping by.

Cute place, I had the chilaquiles with two over easy eggs in a green sauce, was absolutely delicious, my husband's breakfast meal was eggs sausage pancakes huge amounts was also delicious. Unfortunately the Menudo was not to my liking at all, but you may like it, it just wasn't flavorful, bland. Service was great with kind staff. I did see lots of other dishes that looked great too.

I got the tacos and my husband got the burrito. The food was beautiful seasoned. I forgot to take a picture as I was very hungry. The service is very friendly. It's small inside which is why I chose it. I'm not a fan of huge place.

Would definitely eat here again. If you haven't been here you should give it a try. There is also out door seating.

What a great little restaurant! Unique on the outside and very quaint and clean inside. The food was delicious! For the price you won’t find a better meal! The quesadilla with green chilies was amazing! May not be fancy but the service was great and the restaurant was very homey!

Give it a try!

The stuffed French toast was amazing. It was a perfect combination of sweet lemon cream and berries. The quevos rancheros was one of the best I ever had. Can’t wait to try lunch. Portions were generous and the service was attentive.

Well the first thing I want to say is that the service is good. The servers are polite and they explain what they have on the menu and extra stuff. Also my wife had the chilaquiles which were amazing. I had the burrito with carne asada which is grilled on mesquite wood and that was good. Also the huevos rancheros. Great experience hope to come back soon.

Really good Mexican food. The carne asada has a smoky taste and is the best I've had. Great chips and salsa.

We LOVE el asadero. We’ve been coming here since it opened. We’ve since moved out of state and whenever we come to town it’s a must to have a meal here. In fact it was my daughter’s birthday and her one wish was to have breakfast here.

We had the Sonoran hot dogs, pozole, chicken tacos and quesadillas. Everything was SO GOOD! And the portions were so generous, matched with such reasonable prices.
I don't think I've ever seen a quesadilla more loaded with carne asada. So. Good.

The owner was so sweet and accommodating and came to ask us about our meal personally.

Great atmosphere, great service, great prices, great food. We'll be back every time we pass through Prescott Valley!

Kid-friendliness: We came straight from a weekend of camping with 6 rowdy, dirty and hungry kids. They happily accommodated!

Great service, delicious food, and very clean restaurant. The carne asada had such an amazing flavor! Everything tasted so fresh. Another reviewer said don’t sleep on the quesadillas and they were so right! I had the asadero quesadilla and LOVED it.
