My wife caught me looking at dirty pictures while we were here, but whatever. The food is amazing. Our total for 3 people with desert and no alcohol was $100, but the service is goof and the food is really good

Gabriella's Ristorante is a small establishment with limited parking, including just two handicapped spots near the entrance. Upon entering, we immediately noticed its compact size, dated interior and the noticeable layer of dust on the walls, decor, and even the lighting above the tables. It's possible most people don't notice things like this so maybe I'm just overly observant.
Our waitress was both friendly and professional, serving both of our meals in under ten minutes despite the crowd. This quick service along with the fact that the plate took ten minutes to cool off suggests the food had been frozen then microwaved. Hot food does not make a plate so hot it can't be touched for ten minutes. After I'd unburied it from the mountain of marinara sauce, my lasagna looked exactly like the one I'd had only a week before, which came out of a Stouffer's frozen lasagna box. Order it yourself and you be the judge.
The menu featured simple Italian dishes that were easy to prepare, with nothing extravagant and a rather limited wine selection. One would typically expect a more comprehensive wine list at an Italian restaurant. The two small pieces of bread that were brought out were very good. The salad was excessively large, far more than what two people could finish — possibly enough for four — which seemed wasteful. There were just two of us.
The main courses were slightly smaller than average. While the food was decent, it didn't live up to the high expectations set by the reviews I had read. Most people use Olive Garden as the standard to compare all other Italian restaurants to; is it better than OG or worse than OG? Because, let's face it, practically everyone reading this review has been to Olive Garden.
I'm not saying it is the best Italian restaurant in Arizona, I'm just using it as a reference to gauge similar Italian eateries.
I'd rate OG a solid 8.0 and GR a 6.5.
My observations in this review are just that, what I saw, felt, tasted, heard, etc. But the bottom line is, if I'm going to pay $50 for a dinner for two, I'd rather just go to Olive Garden for the larger parking area, larger menu and wine selection and the fact that they have a bar.
Clearly, Gabriella's will not be hurt by my lack of patronage, as there are plenty of people who go there regularly. This is just my opinion. Maybe you'll think it's awesome.

The good is incredible, in my opinion a little pricey but you do get a lot of food so it makes up for it.

First time here. Service EXCELLENT! very attentive and friendly. We ordered shrimp scampi and sweet potato gnocchi. Both were good. Scampi a bit lemony and gnocchi sauce a bit sweet but overall very very good restaurant. Salad was ice cold and excellent!! Bread really good, great olive oil at table. Fresh grated cheese too. Will try other dishes again definitely!!

Anniversary dinner
Im a truck driver from NY and i was delivering about a mile and half away from the restaurant when I decided to take a walk and get some dinner. Because it's quite literally the closest place to eat from where I was parked.
i'm not a hard man to please so when she sat me down at a table that wasn't all the way wiped off. I didn't mind because I like to be facing the room when I'm eating so I insisted. There was Italian music playing in the background as soon as you walk in I thought that was cool. I ordered the shrimp scampi first they bring you out this nice sized salad. I thought the bowls were a bit pretentious, but the salad was good, maybe too many black olives nevertheless I ate the whole thing and it was a big portion then they brought the scampi out in the same kind of bowl as the salad I can tell it had been sitting under a warmer and all the butter sauce had settled at the bottom of the noodles and the top looked kind of dry so at first glance, I wasn't impressed. but I grabbed my fork and did a quick mix poured a little olive oil oil on top and voilà we were in business. I absolutely loved it so much flavor and you can tell the noodles were homemade. I drank a little wine with it. I don't remember what kind but it was good and I ordered the lasagna to go so I could eat the next day in my truck and boy was that delicious. You get tired of eating fast food and deli stuff so I try and take advantage of different kinds of foods when I have the chance to, and I’m very glad that I did. 🙌🇮🇹

Very cool temple but masks required to enter. I thought the world learned that masks don’t prevent disease transmission.
This was my first time to eat here!! The salad and hot bread were delicious!! The homemade noodles, meats and sauces were so filling that we brought leftovers home to enjoy again. We will return again!
Delicious food and fresh hand made pasta. Server was great and so was the tirimusu. Definitely a hidden gem.
