I've been coming here for 2 years. There beef brisket is great. Make sure you get the brisket with fat. It's moist, juicy and tender. They are the only bbq place that offers French fries and onion rings besides the Cole slaw, baked beans. The place is family owned and they, along with staff, are super friendly. What's great is they remember my order from the last time. Friday and Saturday are there busiest days, so call them to see if they still have anymore fatty brisket or the pork ribs. They will let you know if they cooking more and how long to wait for the next batch of meat. Just a great place.Today, it is July 9, 2023, and I just read on Lucky's Facebook page that they have decided to close. It is a sad day. The best BBQ in the Quad cities is gone.

Man, I wish this place would reopen. After living in AZ my whole life (3rd gen), we moved a few years ago to NC. Nice place, but dreadful BBQ. When we'd come back to visit, we'd always stop at Lucky's on the way to Prescott. So sad they closed (we understand why and wish them well)Nothing matched Lucky's brisket.

Food quality has fallen, you can taste the brisket is old and was re warmed in a microwave.Customer sevice has slipped as well, they won't listen to you during a phone order when ordering COMBO entrees. They leave the sides out while claiming you never ordered sides and want to charge full side price an not the combo price.Ughhh buuhhhh bye

Different days for different food. Sporadic menu. Way over priced! Used to eat here all the time but since new ownership and his done nothing but go down hill.

My husband and I both got pulled pork. We tried all four of their sauces, original, sweet, spicy and honey mustard. From the first bite we were amazed. Absolutely the best BBQ we have ever had in our lives!!! I love how tender, smokey and overall flavorful it was. It didn't need the sauces but they were a delicious add on for sure. I loved the sweet the most, my husband loved the original the most but all four were delicious. It is a MUST TRY and we will definitely be back.

Very pleased. The bbq ribs and brisket satisfied my bbq craving perfectly. Very friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. I look forward to enjoying Lucky's bbq again soon. It was my first visit and to say I look forward to going back I believe is the best thing one can say about a restaurant. PS I do not judge a meal until the final outcome. And, no issues the next day either. A+

Waited a long time before we finally went in. Unfortunately my ordered Dr. Pepper. They were out. I ordered potato salad. They were out. Ordered sausage. They were out. I ordered two brisket tacos with beans. 10.99. It comes out and two tiny street tacos meant for a child. Very disappointing and they had so much toppings I couldn't taste the brisket which was crumbled instead of sliced. My wife's chicken was dry. The onion rings were way over done. There were six of us and not one of us will go back. All times we drove past. Wish we had this day. Expensive. Go to the Colt Grill in PV.

Good bbq. I like the atmosphere. I wish they had more than 3 sauces to chose from though. I also think as a bbq joint they should have burnt ends. The menu is pretty basic as to why only 3 stars. We still eat here every so often as it's conveniently located in Dewey. I'd definitely recommend someone to try it.

This Texan is happy! The customer service was friendly and nice to start which is a great first impression. The brisket was tender and flavorful and not dry like most places. The ribs were not too tender to fall off the bone but perfectly juicy and not too wet but nicely brushed with their sauce. The pulled pork taco was delicious and flavorful. The cornbread was sweet but moist and amazing and the side salad actually good sized. The sauces were all good too and their sweet and unsweet teas great. Loved that they serve Shiner Bock and Dr. pepper like a real Texas BBQ joint ? I'll definitely be back!

Awesome coleslaw the best I've ever had! Also, the meat was really good, and the sauce was superb! The beans, mac & cheese.. all were great! It was catered to my work, so I haven't seen the establishment yet.

I've never been one that ate barbecue that often. Lucky's has the best that I feel I've ever had. Even coming from Texas, ha! The ribs are amazing, the brisket is perfect as is the sausage. Try it all because it is sure worth it! Service is great, food is excellent!

Thought the ribs were a bit dry, bland, and as such depended too much on sauce to have a satisfactory flavor. This could be a one off as is the case with many BBQ places, but this was my experience. I thought the sides were good and the pulled pork was good as well. Some of the children's meals are laughable and complete ripoffs for the price however.

Parking, service and food were all great. Atmosphere, who cares?
