Attentive and quick wait staff. They brought out the food quick and it is some of the best Mexican food I have had in this town.

Two stars for the service (wishing there was a way to rate food and service separately and if there was service would rate higher)... It's really been hard finding good Mexican food in this area, but this is a place that was recommended by some local friends that are also new to the PV area, but have been here twice as long as we have. This restaurant is conveniently located off one of the main roads and it has ample parking available. It is a sit-down restaurant with a full-bar, but other than the beer my husband had on tap, we didn't try any other alcoholic beverages so I can't review the bar service. The hostess was very friendly and sat us at a booth as soon as we arrived (no wait time during dinner hours on a Sunday?). We waited a very short while before our server came to take our drink and food order. He was also very friendly and even brought out a spicy salsa for me upon my request. Food order came out super fast! So, my husband ordered the Macho Burrito with ground beef (other meat options were available). It was pretty much like a taco inside of a giant flour tortilla with red sauce and cheese poured on top of it. He opted out of the lettuce and sour cream. I on the other hand decided to order a combo plate consisting of two shredded beef hard shell tacos, a cheese enchilada, rice and beans. The only thing I omitted were the onions that come in the cheese enchilada. As previously mentioned, the food came out quick and was served nice and hot just how I like it! Unfortunately, it wasn't that great. The tacos could've used a bit more meat for sure and the meat had no flavor at all. I don't know if they forgot to season it, but if it weren't for the salsa I added to the cheese and lettuce, it really wouldn't have had any flavor whatsoever. I always like to try enchiladas at "new to me" Mexican food restaurants, because if they make a good red sauce, then I'm probably coming back! This place however, didn't meet my expectations. The sauce had some sweetness to it that I honestly didn't care for. Consistency was right on, but I guess I was hoping for some spice. As for the rice? Not good at all. No flavor and just wasn't my thing. The beans were okay and that could be because they were topped with melted cheese and I added salsa to them. Anyway, I didn't finish the rice, beans, or the enchilada, but I did eat the two lettuce, cheese, tomato, and salsa tacos. My husband said his burrito "lacked substance" and that it was just missing something...? He actually had been here before for their Taco Tuesday and he said he liked it then and would probably return, but only for the 99 cent tacos. He will be going without me. The restaurant did start filling up as we were dining and I'm guessing it was their regular customers, because everyone seemed to know what they were getting and they appeared to be enjoying their meals. I'm of Mexican descent and grew up eating Mexican food, so perhaps I hold the bar too high for Mexican food restaurants, but I can only review it based on what I know. Sadly, this is not a place I would recommend. However, the restaurant was clean, service was on par, and prices were reasonable.

Plaza Bonita has a wonderful taco Tuesday where tacos can be soft or hard shelled with all of the accoutrements for $.99 each. The service is good, and the ambience is typical Mexicano

We went on a very busy Taco Tuesday. Had to wait to be seated, but not long. The two young ladies did a great job of getting everyone taken care of. The food was served quickly and was very good. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Keep up the good work. We will be back.

This was the worst service I've ever had at any restaurant in my life! It took an hour to get our order even though the restaurant was almost empty when we arrived During that time one of are kids got sick we told our server that our kid had gotten sick and we had to leave after about 15 minutes of are server having my card and not bringing us our bill I had to track her down to make her run the card so we could leave. We have been going to this restaurant for over 9 years and will probably never return
