Went for take out. Delicious food, but I found a short hair in one of my quesadillas birria tacos. Called to get a refund but they wanted me to bring it back to give them proof. Really?! My husband is bald and I have long hair. No way we could’ve placed that hair. We don’t have a reason to lie or con anyone. We didn’t feel like driving all the way back. We offered to send a picture, but they said there was no way they could receive it. So here it is. Disappointed and still hungry. thought the customer service was better than this. My husband even tipped.Adding to the review after their answer: my husband actually shaves his head because he is balding, so really nice of you wanting to blame us for a hair in our food. And I guess the biggest problem of this place is not treating costumers right. But I have to admit that the food is so good that they don’t need to be nice to people to be in business ?? so if you want to support rude people this is the place! ?

This is our favorite place to go for their Al Pastor tacos! We know things are more expensive, we understand but not happy that we came home with six of their Al Pastor tacos and couldn’t believe how small they were☹️ We will try again but if they are skimpy like the last ones we will find a new place.

Good eats! Enjoyed the Don Omar roll, and the tacos were also good. Food made fresh to order. Agua Fresca was also good, had the pineapple flavor.

Delicious food and great customer service from a locally owned restaurant. We were passing through Prescott Valley and found this little gem on Yelp. My husband and I lived in Mexico and miss it's delicious food. At Taqueria Don Omar, I had the tacos al pastor (street tacos)- one chicken and 2 pork. The seasoning was just like the actual street tacos in Mexico with fresh onions and cilantro. The dollop of guac they added on top was a nice flavorful touch. The It came with rice and beans, all of which was delicious and were just like those found in Mexico. My husband had the Don Omar Roll. It was filled with al pastor meat, onion, and cilantro, in a nice crispy pan seared tortilla. It also came with a cup of consume that you could pour overtop, which my husband said was delicious. Additionally, the employees were warm and inviting and showed they genuinely cared about our satisfaction. Lastly, the restaurant was clean as was the restroom. We give this place 2 thumbs up. Next time we're passing through Prescott Valley, we'll be sure to stop in again!

Food was okay. Meat quality was high. Corn tortillas tasted fresh. I might argue the beef was a little too salty, but the taco spread the salt well. Beans were dry, added some of the included broth and it helped fix them. They tasted fresh but were probably cooked 6 hours prior and getting thick on the warmer. Rice was cooked uneven and was very plain and was not enjoyable. They probably stirred it before they were finished cooking - I just threw it away. Having a PA system with such a small lobby makes you feel like you're in a cafeteria, and is impersonal, especially when you're the only customer and they hit the button to announce your order is done. But generally it was good food. In the future I'll just order tacos and skip the rest. Horchata wasn't available, fork wasn't given in the to-go bag. To their credit I can taste each individual ingredient, and the jamaica wasn't overly sweet. Probably not the best food I've had but nothing pretentious. Salsa was delicious but barely any was given, the containers are extremely small.
