BEWARE! Really disappointed in this place and the lack of customer service and concern. Let me start off by saying, I HATE writing bad reviews. But this one came down to a major safety concern that I could not get anyone to address. I went in about 2 weeks ago and ordered a strawberry banana and chocolate smoothie. The taste was actually quite good, however about 1/5 of the way through, I choked on a foreign object. This definitely wasn’t a piece of fruit or anything that should have been in a smoothie. It felt like plastic or a piece of metal. It got lodged in the side of my throat and I tried everything to get it out. Luckily, it wasn’t blocking my airway so I was still able to breathe. It was however very sore and hard to swallow. Deeming how expensive it is to go to the hospital, I tried to wait it out a few hours and tried many different things to try to get it to dislodge. Luckily, after 5 hours, I was able to get this small object to go down. My throat was sore for at least 2 days afterwards. I immediately reached out via phone and by email to management. I was very concerned for other people safety and that the ingredients they used may have been contaminated. Despite numerous attempts, no one ever got back to me. I find this shocking, as this is not just a quality/taste issue- this is a major safety concern! And absolutely no one would get back with me. I was very patient- I waited 2 weeks before posting a review (I understand companies are busy) I didn’t repeatedly call, I was very kind and courteous in my email, I didn’t even ask for a refund- I simply wanted someone to acknowledge that they received my concern and were checking on things to make sure that no other customers had the chance of being injured like I was. The fact that the company didn’t even respond- it really shows their complete lack of concern or care about what they are making and selling and their lack of concern for their customers. Such a shame. I’ll never be back and for those thinking about going here- PLEASE be cautious. This issue could have been so much more serious. I just want to make others aware of the dangerous situation so that they can make a conscientious decision whether to come here or not. And please, for goodness sake- at least check your ingredients for safety.

This review is gone from 5 to a 1 for 3 reasons but will mention 2. Reason 1: all workers were too busy watching a phone video in back & I had to wait for service. Reason 2: I order 3 times a week, Chia Banana Boost, w/peanut butter & no sugar. That same day, she had to remake it twice & still tasted watery & no flavor of peanut butter. Supposedly, my husband watched her make it & she didn't scoop out all the peanut butter & noticed extra water. Sorry, but I won't be coming back until you train your employees to give better service & consistency on smoothies.

At first glance of the menu, all of the things are more towards the upside of pricing, but don’t let that $8 price point get in your way of trying this!The smoothie that I tried was really good regardless of the price (The Peanut Butter Cup smoothie.) Would I come here again? Yes, I probably would regardless. The staff was really kind to everyone in the cafe, and was a really nice experience.
