Love the separate booths giving privacy and cuts down the noise

I've not been thrilled with their sushi, (not surprising, especially since we are up in the desert mountains, not at the shore, where good seafood is served) so I decided to try their Asian menu. Bad mistake. I ordered Miso soup and a japanese eggplant/chicken dish, thinking who could go wrong with miso or a simple Asian dish. Both were tasteless. Worst miso ever. No taste of fish stock, as miso should be. The eggplant dish was spicy, and had some gloppy sauce, but that was it. Not sure why anyone likes their food, but I sure do not. Have eaten a lot of Asian food in many places across the US and around the world, and this is one of the worst. Never eating here again.

Poor and rude service. Cold food. The hostess was watching her TV programs at a loud volume while we tried to have dinner conversation. Seating was uncomfortable as well. Overall really bad experience.

This place is my and my wife's favorite place in Prescott to get sushi. We always get sat no matter how seemingly busy the place is, and our waiters/waitresses are always very kind and attentive. They also never get our orders wrong and are accommodating of my wife's gluten intolerance (some of the rolls have that panko bread crumb on them, so we have to ask for the rolls not to have that.)

And when you order enough rolls they always come on these really cool display plates/boat. I highly recommend this place!

Dietary restrictions: For gluten-free, it's not clear when a sushi roll includes bread crumble on it until it comes to you. So make sure to ask if rolls have that crumble to avoid the awkward situation of sending it back.

Went to this restaurant to check it out as there will be one opening in cottonwood. Well unfortunately i will never be spending another dollar at the prescott location or cottonwood one. We were sat very quickly as it was lunch and not very busy. Server was quick at first but very short and not very expressive. Brought us our drink and we ordered wontons which we were unsure if he heard or not. But wonton came out and those were good. From there everything went terribly down hill. The server seems to stop comingnout into the dinning room. When he did come take our order again very short and not very welcoming. Bento boxes are awesome unless you serve them with sour meat and "not cold" fish that is cut WAY to thick for sushi and then they are not. When i told the serve the meat was sour and i wanted the it removed from the check he proceeded too tell me maybe i didnt like the flavors. I said no its sour and i would like it removed from my check. They did so but was again not friendly. A simple apology would have probably corrected all of this. But whatever this place sucks and all of the bad reviews in the last month or so would agree

I'm from California and have relocated to Arizona and I didn't think I would find the quality of fresh fish here, but W&Z Asian bistro and sushi bar nailed it...😎
