Ladies be careful at this bar!!! Friends and I went for a couple of drinks and were being followed by a creepy man. Eventually he tried to get physical with us and the security kicked out those who tried helping us out instead of the actual creep. The security at this bar does not care for your safety and apparently encourages creeps. This is not a safe place!

Wouldn't let me in to this whiskey row bar after I got wanded at the door. Yep. 2 inch Swiss army pocket knife in my pocket!!! Are you kidding me? Oh and requested id from my 64 year old wife while wanding her. Lived here all my life. Went to Matt's instead. Won't be back to 1881 and will go out of my way to tell everyone I know about this place.

The drinks are great and the vibes were good, until they threw my friend out saying he was high when he'd had literally 3 beers and was nowhere near intoxicated enough to warrant the way they treated him.He tried to use the bathroom, and 3 security guards literally seized him and tossed him out. 1/5 always for this whack behavior.

Normally my favorite bar, but got kicked out on my way out of the restroom while there with some family. No reason given, and when told my fam was by the restroom they kicked me regardless ( while people were several time more than drunk me (including my own family)). Good overall but Ig my point is that their security sucks.

This place really doesn't start jumping until after 10pm. Once 10 hits, it is so fun the staff and patrons alike are a vibe all their own! So much fun!
