Was hungry the first time I went I was really hungry so food was realllly good. Second time I went with my mother and she loved it and so did I a second time an Lots of selection lots of flavor and it's a very homey environment. Pretty quiet inside, not too many bright lights either; good lighting. Good table service. Easy on your wallet. No kid menu but they have a wide selection on veggies, chicken, pork, and beef. All over good service not too much of a wait and it's not that pricey.

I've eaten here several times and find it difficult to order and when served, the food is not very good. The point here is that I keep a vegetarian diet and do not eat anything with meat, fish, or eggs. This is a little difficult for some places as they are used to serving meat eaters. So this review is valid only for vegetarians as their meat dishes may be very good. First, I am a little surprised they have such a hard time handling vegetarian dishes as usually Chinese restaurants have been a safe haven for me. When the food finally came, it was very bland and not at all good. Again, if you're a meat eater, your experience will most likely differ. However, if you are a vegetarian, I would skip this place.

called to place an order and the owner of the restaurant answered and she was rude. She did not even let me explain what I needed. She yelled over the phone and asked if I've been there before, I said yes and she got upset because I was trying to change my order. She yelled and said just come in and place your order here, bye.She hung up the phone and was talking over me while I was trying to explain what I wanted. I do not recommend this place

Not the best Chinese food I've ever had, but definitely one of the best (if not the best) in Prescott. Reasonable prices ($15 for a LARGE meal), very friendly staff, and almost no wait. Can't go wrong here.

If she can't understand you they will hang up and make you order inside. What's the point of calling ahead to pick up your food if they won't answer. Waste of time go somewhere else where your money is valued.

We ordered food thru post mates for delivery, 20 mins later Ryan from post mates Went in to pick up our food and she told him she was going to call the cops on him and kicked him out of the restaurant. After receiving a call from Ryan we tried to contact Beijing Garden to discuss it as soon as we said post mate they hung up on us and we've tried nine more times and they will not answer her phone call

The quality of the food at Beijing has deteriorated throughout the years. An that is unfortunate. We are longtime residents of the Prescott area - over 45 years. I remember when the food was freshly prepared and tasted good. The ginger chicken had white meat, fresh ginger and came in a delicate tasty white sauce. Last night this was not the case, as it came with a brown sauce and did not taste as ginger chicken. When I mentioned it to the owner she did not offer to rectify it. The personal touch is gone at Beijing.

The food I had during dinner hours was excellent. 5 stars for the meal quality. Portion size was average. There is one caveat, and this is the reason this place gets 4 stars overall. The dinner menu is a lot of pages long. However, only 1 page contains entrees that come with the usual combo items like egg roll, wontons, fried rice, and soup. The other entrees come only with steamed rice. If you want fried rice, the price of your dinner will DOUBLE. It's bizarre. If you want 2 wontons and soup, you will pay far more than double. If you want those items with your entree, only order the entrees on the Dinner Specials page. Do you want curry beef with fried rice? That sux for you. It's not on the Dinner Specials page, so it'll cost you $25 instead of $12. It might be because they want to have a few of the most popular items heated up and ready to eat before you even order it and not have to spend a lot of time cooking. I received my meal a couple of minutes after ordering. It was one of the Dinner Specials items. Even stranger, is that they don't distinguish between the Dinner Specials and everything else on the menus on GrubHub and Yelp, so you might not know whether you're getting the fried rice, etc. Dinner Specials is a different list than Chef's Specials, and that page is on in the print menu onsite. It could be a surprise when they deliver. Maybe steamed rice only, maybe the works. There's no way to know. Reminder: The food I ordered was better than most of the other Chinese restaurants in my lifetime, and I've been around a few decades. Even the egg roll was better than average quality. Service was great, too, although they didn't seem too helpful to those who were attempting to call in orders by phone. One response was "You need to come in and look at the menu." The seating area wasn't busy at all. Most tables were open. I hope they weren't calling because they were looking at the GrubHub or Yelp menu and wondering whether they'll get fried rice.

My wife’s favorite Chinese Restaurant in the world is Beijing Garden, located in Prescott, AZ. We definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Chinese food and service. ?

I try to call in an order & ask one question and am told they're too busy to call back when I "know what I want"? I had the order written & ready. Lost he got good. Too many other good places they'll treat customers with respect. Never again.

Don't know what happened to this place. I had eaten here several times and it was edible. This past week I had lunch with my wife. Neither of us could eat our lunches. I ordered terryiaki chicken and it was unedible. They severed it stone cold, sauce was disgusting, chicken consisted of chicken legs that they had stripped from the bone leaving it chewy, nasty, with gristle and bone attached. Owner asked me what was wrong, I told her, she did not take it off the bill even though I did not eat it. I will never return, terrible food.

It was awful. I threw my dinner out. It was shrimp and vegetables. My daughter had a couple of bits of hers and it was so greasy she threw hers out. Won't be going back. This was the second time with bad results.
