Good lunch wirh friends
Really beautiful atmosphere, right on the corner of everything. Wonderful service. My drink was fantastic. Food was lacking :( The best part of my steak, mashed potatoes, and asparagus was the asparagus, which was actually perfectly cooked. Steak was overdone and potatoes were cold and felt like play dough.
Connected to the historic St. Michael's Hotel, the Bistro is warm and relaxing with high tiled ceiling and beautiful rich woodwork. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our server, Melonai, was pleasant, accommodating, and consistently attentive. The menu offered a brisket Mac and chesse that sounded amazing but since I was not hungry enough to try it this time, I will have to go back. Instead we opted to share calamari which was lightly breaded and tender; buffalo wings that were meaty and nicely spiced, with a thick flavorful blue cheese dressing; and a creamy tomato artichoke bisque that I would absolutely order again. Prices were consistent with the area and the fare.
I don't normally review a place twice, but brunch (which is a separate menu) demands its own review. Maryann, our server, was spirited and attentive - though the Bistro was very busy.
My husband and I live about an hour and a half away, and we will be driving to Prescott periodically for brunch. We split the Brisket Benedict which was delectible - tender and full of flavors - I really can say enough. The cranberry and pineapple mimosas were great compliments. We ended with yogurt parfait (we chose Greek yogart) and coffee, which we didn't need, but thoroughly enjoyed. The kitchen didn't skimp on fresh fruit and the granola was fresh, lightly sweet, and crunchy. When guest visit AZ, a trip to Prescott for brunch at the Bistro St Michaels will be on our new itinerary.
A little pricey for what you get. Had steak tacos that were really skimpy on the meat
Try the calamari it is outstanding. The fish and chip are great. Big thick pieces of mahi-mahi
Pancakes & service are great.
Great food and service.
My daughter and I really enjoyed everything about this restaurant. We were there last night and our server was the sweetest. She made us feel special and really took care of us. The food was delicious, both of us had fish and chips. We had a window seat that was lovely with the courthouse all lit up. We will definitely return when we visit again.

Had trouble being recognized and seated. Both evening; and, the following morning. They should do away with the "Please Wait to be Seated" sign if there is no master plan for seating the guest. After standing around and searching for eye contact (quite obviously, a couple standing at the podium) we actually left and came back, seated ourselves, and shared an entree. The food ceased to matter. The next morning after standing at the podium and being wholly ignored again, we just bailed out and visited The Raven (around the corner) where we seated ourselves and enjoyed breakfast. We tried, twice.

What a horrific experience. It took them about 15 minutes to give us a menu after we were seated. Another 15 minutes to take our order. And then another 40 minutes before our food arrived. They kept serving other patrons who arrived after us while ignoring us. Our server kept disappearing and never checked on us to see if we needed anything. We waited and waited as we watched servers take plate after plate from the kitchen to everyone else for 40 minutes. I try to think good of people, so I didn't want to believe it in this day and age, but I started to realize that it was all the Caucasian people being served first, and the rest of my party, all of us people of color, witnessed and realized the same disgusting thing, as we had to endlessly wait and be ignored. It wasn't until after my mother-in-law finally had enough and got up and said something to the staff that they finally brought out our plates. Later when I brought this horrible treatment to the manager's attention, he was rude, condescending and flippant. He gave the excuse that the restaurant was very busy and our server was working the bar and serving food, all of which was a lie because there were only two people at the bar, and it was other servers bartending not her; she disappeared. The restaurant wasn't so busy that other people had to wait like we did. It was only us. Everyone else was getting served, we were not. He continued with his rude attitude and said he gave us a discount and that should be sufficient. Not once did he apologize, not once did he say he was sorry, not once did he thank us for coming to his restaurant. To add insult to injury, when my daughter walked to the restroom, he cut in front of her so he could go first and didn't even bother to say excuse me or apologize . I have never witnessed this blatant type of discrimination and behavior, and I was horrified and sickened. I couldn't even enjoy my food when it finally did arrive, so I couldn't even tell you how it tasted. My blood was boiling and I was near tears. To see my family and I be subjected to this type of outright discrimination is disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourselves. My family is visiting , and we drive in from out of town so I can try to show them a good time, and then we experience this? I will never ever come back to this restaurant. I am beyond sickened.

I really do love this place! Feels good to hang out for a few hours. Drinks are really good. We had dinner last night and lunch today. We ordered a burger last night medium rare and it was perfect !! We like it so much we ordered another one… however it was more medium to medium well. We didn’t care we were so happy with the first one. The drinks again, delicious. I ordered a fantastic pineapple martini. We left our Airbnb a bit late this morning so we went back to hopefully get another medium rare burger once again. And a pineapple martini and a bloody mary which they make from scratch. Both are delicious. However the burger was well done 😞. I was starving so I ate it. My boyfriend let them know at the end of our meal to recognize what had happened. The server was cool and she gave us a discount. I suppose maybe I expected the manager to speak to us or maybe something else. I know sometimes that how it goes when you go out. Its almost a common thing to have your food not be its best because everyone is short staffed. The server did mention there were only 2 people in the kitchen for all of us. Totally get it. However make sure you make up for it one way or another. Have the manager small talk and ask what can I do ? Because its going to happen so make sure you have a few options to make sure your customers leave happy. Customer service makes up for mistakes. Thanks for the experience! I still choose to be grateful for everything we do receive. The servers and kind and hard working. Have a wonderful New Years!
Dietary restrictions: Ordered the burger no bun and coleslaw.

We walked in to try to get a table. The receptionist was so unbelievably rude we literally walked out after just a few seconds of talking to her. I cannot believe that they would’ve let somebody like her work there
