Owner and Barista Joe was very conversational and open every visit.Have not had a bad drink yet.Only drawback is sometimes the mochas are not readily available due to chocolate supplier dragging their feet.Easy to find on Cortez and in the Prescott Farmers Market.Definitely recommend, price point is reasonable compared to other local shops.Parking: Plenty of spots both within the lot that Campgrounds is in as well as on both sides of Cortez

The owner put together a drink when I said I trust your judgement and gave him the ingredients I like. Thank you for wonderful service. Bless your Business!!

Absolutely loved your coffee, and have been singing your song daily. " Campground ladies sing your song , do da , do da . Make my coffee black and strong, oh the do da days. Going to perk all night, going to perk all day. I'll have my coffee in a Campground mug, all the do da days."Your welcome???

Our experience was great, the food was great and our server, Victoria, was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Great weekend holiday brunch! Excellent service and food. Highly recommend the eggs benedict and the vegie bowl. Lunch entrees also are available, including the steak sandwich. Murphy's booths can't be beat for quiet conversation in a Victorian setting.

Fantastic historic building. A perfect ambience for mid day meal while touring northern AZ. And to top it off the meal was wonderful! Great selection, settled on sandwiches with were gigantic portions and perfectly made. 100% loved my experience here

I ate here with my family after the light parade in Prescott because it was close by. Every other restaurant I've eaten at in downtown Prescott has been better all around. Calamari was good. I was disappointed with the lobster Mac N Cheese. My daughter was disappointed with her kids meal as well and I had to feed her dinner when I got home a second time. I have nothing personal against this place, but as an honest review, I would pick somewhere else.

Super good vibes. Owner was open to conversation and very informative and knowledgeable about his product and the coffee was obviously great! If you are passing through, or staying a few days, or a local it’s a definite must try.

It was supposed to be a special Anniversary dinner. We picked Murphys because in the past it had always been an upscale restaurant for our "Special Occasions" like birthdays, Anniversaries, Vallentine Day, etc. Last night it was anything but special. With reservations made and a desire for the house special prime rib we arrived about 6:30. When we were ordering, we were told they were out of the Prime Rib. At 6:30 on a Saturday night! The order changed to scallops and rib eye. Ten minutes later the waiter tells us that they are out of baked potatoes. We switched to mashed. Food was delivered with no presentation. They no longer put any vegetables on the plate. It looked like a meal at a cafeteria! A blob of potatoes and the steak or the four scallops. At these prices a vegetable or salad should be included. Service was acceptable. Next time we want a special meal, we will go either to Hassayampa or Texas Roadhouse and get a complete meal and what we want. What has happened to Murphys?

Our waitress was great. Their were ten of us so she did great. Half of the lunches were great. The other half were terrible. 5 of us had the $12 French Onion soup. It was beef bullion with a few al dente onion strips. It had some bread on the side with melted globs of cheese on it. None of us liked to and left hungry.

We finally decided to check out Murphy's again after 8 years avoiding it as locals. We've gone with friends a couple of times only because they invited us, but we only order apps. The restaurant continues to deliver on atmosphere and charm. However, for what they charge, the service should be stellar, and it isn't. Everyone is friendly enough, but it almost feels like a battle at Murphy's anymore...almost as if the staff is expecting complaints. The wait-time was 20 minutes between water and ordering. We didn't mind, but it started getting ridiculous. The bar was completely empty and the booths were half full. We had to ask the server for bread (which they used to bring out automatically.) The food is bland and subpar by my standards, although my wife's roasted chicken was excellent. They no longer serve a "meal". Main courses come with the item and one choice of a side, and the sides are small. An 8-oz Filet Mignon is $50 with a choice of side. Ordered an Old-Fashioned cocktail and it was also weird with a whole slice of orange, tons of ice, and no cherry. Seriously? What bartender in the world fills up the glass with ice for an old-fashioned? And what's with the prices of cocktails these days?? $14-$20 for a drink? Again, ridiculous. If you have money to burn Murphy's is a cool setting, but otherwise, we'll continue to avoid.

Very disappointed in our dinner choice of lobster mac & cheese. She sauce had very little flavor. Brought the lobster mac & cheese home because it didn’t taste very good, picked it apart with the lobster and there was one ounce of lobster and each portion. The calamari we ordered was just OK, but the escargot was delicious. We will no be back to this restaurant.

Murphy's was delicious. We had eggs benedict and they were both really good. Loved atmosphere. Great service. A little pricey but worth it.

Opened at 9. A plus. We ordered avocado toast w eggs and bacon and fried oysters benedict. Both were very good. Avocado toast is enough for 2. Potatoes with the benedict were also excellent. Service was very good. They were steady but not packed. It was very relaxing and very good all around. August 6, 2023
