2/09/2024 @7pm. I had just received my Costco certificate and was contemplating getting some things or Super Bowl Sunday, but my Visa had been compromised on the 2nd, so I delayed going, waiting until my new card came, but I needed to get out of the house, so I went to try to see if or how I could use my membership. I asked the employee (female) at the entrance, where they check your membership and I asked where to go since my card was closed. She referred me to the podium left of the cafe. So what the heck, I strolled to the podium and was helped by the lady working the podium. She not only looked into my card/account, she issued me a temporary membership pass and I was able to pay with my certificate. After strolling up and down the aisles, I went through checkout where the cashier asked if I needed to hold on to the temporary membership for gas. I was so happy to hear I could use it, so I went and filled up as well and the gentleman working the gas station (in the freezing weather) was very helpful and I was able to fill up. It was just an overall fantastic experience from the moment I walked in, to being assisted, to checkout, to the cafe ( young man was busy in the cafe, but made sure he let me know he'd be right with me) to exit checkout, to getting gas. Oh by the way, I got their chocolate chip cookie. It was GOOOOOOOOD. Thank you all for your assistance and kindness.

I've been a Costco member for almost 15 years and have never had an issue until recently. This location has tanked tremendously in the last year. There's a specific employee who I have had 3 encounters with who has consistently been rude and inconsiderate. "Lori" throws your groceries around like they are bales of hay. This is zero exaggeration. Furthermore, Our baby was in the cart and she continued to literally run our cart into the cart in the checkout isle next to us. My husband grabbed the cart and moved it since she kept doing this. She got upset that we moved the cart and she had to move a little to continue to throw the groceries in the cart. I realize this is one employee but a little consideration goes a long way. A little patience goes a long way. I hope that management can address this issue because it wasn't a one time/having a bad day experience. This woman has been rude, disrespectful and very inconsiderate 3 separate times now. Those are all key attributes to have in customer service. I really hope this is addressed.

Why we have to check out ourselves is beyond me. I don't technically work for Costco, but here I am, slaving away for no paycheck. So if you want us to do your job, there should be quicker responses when you (inevitably) have a problem. As indeed there was. I didn't want my clothing items on the filthy bagging area and when she came to 'help', she flung a clothing item on there. Thanks a bunch. After that go-round, I happened to be complaining about this whole self checkout issue to my husband when Ann inserted herself in our conversation. She snarkily advised us that we could just go stand in the (longer) regular lines. If you insist on offering this option, how about more people assisting us new 'employees' with a nicer attitude? Just a thought.

I went to Costco about 2 weeks ago when I had just moved here and OMG this is amazing! Before I moved, I went to a place called Sam's Club. The food was ok, the prices were expensive, and the service was slow. Now, when I went in Costco for the first time, I felt displaced, but, now that I think about it, going there was the best shopping experience I ever had! The food is great, the prices are cheap, and the service is very nice and fast! Not to mention the selection of products are amazing! Some of the products I saw I never saw before! Honestly, going to Costco is the best shopping experience you could ever have!

I don't know if it's because this Costco is the only one around for miles, or if it is always super busy on a Sunday, but wow! Finding a place to park was crazy, and as many people were entering the store as exiting it.We found a couple of things that we haven't seen yet at the Costcos down in Phoenix, so that was exciting, and this location had clothing from Banana Republic...huh? We used self checkout, because we only had a few items, and, as usual, checkout was easy-peasy.One oddity that we actually thought was pretty cool, was that the gas station was in another area, sort of off property from the store. This meant that no gas lines were bocking traffic into, out of, or just IN the store's lot. Also, the pumps were 4 in a row, making waiting times sooooo little.A++ This Costco is doing it right!46/2023

I give this store no stars. My father is 86 years of age new to Prescott Valley, and was so excited to go to Costco today with my son who by the way is his caretaker. I am in Indiana and should be the second on the card but in the town that I live in there is no Costco. I told my son because you both live in the same household and you are his caretaker you both can just share a card. Today on there visit they both approached the register my father in a motorized wheelchair and my son pushing a cart. My son had a few Items he wanted to pay for on his own and my dad wanted to pay for the rest. When it became time to pay the cashier told my son he could not pay for any of the transaction because he was not on the account. Totally embarrassed my son and my father. Needless to say my father paid for the $500.00 bill. When my son and father got the membership they explained the living arrangements and at that time nobody told them that he should be added to the account if he was wanting to buy something. At this moment to not make a scene when a manager was called over a temporary pass should have been issued or the order should have been suspended so that my son could have been placed on the account, but denying him to buy anything was just plain ridiculous. What If my father did not have enough money for both transactions. So after they paid my dad walked over and added him to his acct. When my dad got home of course he called me and told me about his trip and I lost it, one because I am here my last year of nursing school, and I feel helpless as it is, but two because getting my dad out of the house is his "look forward " thing to do during the week. It may just be going to Costco to us but to him its like going to Disney land. I hate to hear that nobody in that store could give a crap on how his outing was. I called the Store and spoke to the store manager whom really really big guy had to go over his policy with me lol. I told him hes 86 and the order could have been suspended you could have added my son and finished the transaction. I asked him why wasn't this done he stated " don't have an answer for you. I told him instead of telling me what your policy is you should have just said can we make it better next time. Its not about the policy its about the 86 year old and maybe just giving him a break lol. I think we need to slow down for our seniors pay attention to them and maybe give them a little extra attention instead of always rushing them to the side or brushing them under the rug. Remember they are some ones dad mom, grandparents etc.....

I've been going to costco since before costco was costco- anybody remember price club (much better service & products). Recently I noticed that everytime my family purchased a rotisserie chicken they got stomach issues following our eating the bird. This was not one time but EVERY time. Now I see on the internet that this is not isolated to Prescott but to many Costco's. What gives? Won't purchase the rot chicken anymore, not worth sitting on the porcelin for hours. Also I've also noticed a trend in that I've tried several frozen foods and found them to be disgusting. The last were pre-cooked grilled chicken patties. They are horrible. Last month I tried marinated salmon and it was inedible and mushy, nasty stuff. Costco's fresh fruits and vegies are always bad and expensive. Additionally the fresh beef products have gone down hill. Similarly the bakery products are generally old and stale. All in all, Costco, why bother, especially with the membership.

My roommate asked me to go to Costco with them. They have a membership card. I was told at checkout that I couldn't use my card to pay for the food (my roommate had forgotten their card and said they would Venmo me the money). Absolutely ridiculous for a member to be turned away like that with this new policy.

This rating is for the food court. Absolutely no systems in place, complete confusion. The employees need some serious training.

Nice selection of products. Rather busy most times. Wish they had early hours for executive members like other similar clubs.

Liza in Memberships was AMAZING! She was so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and made the whole process SO quick and easy. Very excited to be a new member!

I love the store but am watching the tire center put on a new set of tires and it is a joke. I am astounded on how inefficient they are. They pulled the tires off then waited a while working on something else. They got the tires mounted then they sat on the ground for an hour. Then they put them on, tightened them and waited again. Was told all it needed was to be torqued. 2 hours later there is a car parked in front of the bay so it took another 10 minutes to fill the tires in it. GO TO DISCOUNT TIRES.

Love this location! Great friendly people, smaller store, and the super Costco shopping experience. This location has become very busy in the last 3 years, ever since the Sams Club down the road closed but they still make it happen....just need a bigger store!

Costco's are basically all the same, so not a lot to say in a review. All of merchandise was well organized. The employees were friendly. Like many other stores, they are going towards self check out, which we used. The line went very quickly. This store still has a lot of full service check out lanes too.
