I’d like to give a HUGE shout out to Founding Fathers Collective for a great night. We came to see Scandalous Hands play at the City Tavern. Weather was great,staff was exceptional! They are always good but tonight seemed special. We were out on the back patio and must’ve had out table checked on a dozen times haha! From checking in to taking empty glasses and used napkins, every contact was accompanied by a genuine smile and a genuine attitude of happiness on their faces!...
This is not a business so much as a community. The employees make you feel like part of the family, the owner is a standup guy who wants to foster and support families and businesses in town, and the beer, coffee, haircuts and events are all top notch. My home away from home when I wanna get out and see some friends.
Food trucks can be good. But not always. You serve yourself for food and drinks from a myriad of taps. So the service is as good as you are. The outdoor patio on the creek is sweet, and if you prefer indoors, you can always watch guys get haircuts. A growing spectator sport. The smell of skanky cigars sometimes wafts from the cigar lounge, so find a table far away. Or, you can watch folks try to look cool while working towards cancer? Good coffee bar.
