In general the food and the service were good, and the potions are generous for the price but the rice was a weird day glo orange color and the wet burrito red sauce was an unnatural red. We also didn’t like the fact that we had to pay an additional fee for a second basket of chips and salsa. Because the meal wasn’t outstanding I’d probably go to a different Mexican restaurant and enjoy the chips and salsa without having to budget my chip appetite.
A couple days ago I had the opportunity to try out Frank's restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised.... Salsa and chips were among the best.... The eggs and muchaca was a real deal .... A real plateful of food.... The two flour tortillas were authentic. I'm going there again!
We’ve been going to Maya since they were over on Montezuma. Always great food and service. Frank and Rosa are just the best in town. The QuesoBirria tacos are to die for, messy, but awesome. Can’t recommend them highly enough.
