I like Matt’s, it always has a good atmosphere and vibe. It still feels very authentic Arizonan and is not flooded by Cali culture. The cash-only part is a bit uncomfortable, but at the same time it’s part of that authenticity. They have an ATM at the end of the hall, so it’s not a biggie. Highly recommended, and I hope they never change because it’s amazing.

There is no food, the service is amazing, and the atmosphere is amazing on the right night.....aka Friday and Saturday. My issues is with karaoke night. Have you ever experienced a karaoke bar where there is a multi-song wait list to sing and yet the KJ still manages to steal time to sing? I have not. If there is a list to sing and the KJ comes out, you are in the wrong place.

Disappointed. We are firefighters from OOT, went in for a drink and female bartender was rude and too busy talking it up with 2 locals, embarrassing that this is where the 19 hot shots are honored. Bartender had zero personality and made the place unwelcoming, no wonder only 2 customers were there! Will not return.

My best friend just moved to Prescott, and she bought a home 5 minutes from the world famous whiskey row. I came to visit Prescott and of course visit the World Famous Whiskey Row. Our first stop, we met an amazing, very friendly and out going young lady, named Monique. My friend lost her phone and she over heard us discussing how do we locate it. Without hesitation Monique, said she could help us. During the process, she told us she worked at Matt's. We finally made our way down the row and Hit Matts!! Danced our butts!!! Great time, good drinks! Fast forward to my final night in Prescott. Matts here we come! We see our Monique!! yahhh!! We then met another of Matts bartenders, Dalton!!! Another phenomenal bartender!! He was very attentive, out going, and funny!! we shared stories and he gave us the low down on Prescott. I most definitely would recommend Matt's as one of your stops, on Whiskey Row! Loved it and can not wait to come back!! Great people and great places!!❤️ 🥃🍻
