Terrible food. Went there hoping to get real Mexican food, very disappointed. I won't be back any time soon.

Awesome experience, great food. Their guacamole is one of the best in Prescott, and their potatoe enchiladas were a delightful surprise. Definitely recommend them to everyone.

Very upset because we drove down there to go have lunch and there's a sign on the window and says they are closed. But when you look on website it says it's Open..

Too many things put me off this place to give 4 or 5 stars. But I feel bad giving 2 because I'm some aspects they're trying. I really just wanted a burrito but there's not much that comes in the burrito. The chimichanga seemed like a better option. But I ended up really disliking it and it was hard to eat. Firstly why did this take 20 minutes to make? Secondly why is a fried burrito then smothered or wet? Make it crispy only to then make it soggy. So now it's chewy. Speeking of chewy the pork was chewy. I thought maybe it was freshly grilled because it was a wait, but no its not. Also why is she asking me for a tip when I'm paying for a take out order. I tipped her just because she gestured for it but then she kicked me out ofthe table I was waiting at. Not worth the time or the $15.

Food is average.. They need to cook with lard and do better on their rice. Enchilada sauce needs to be way better..not caned stuff. Tacos are pretty good.

I grew up in Tucson, and I am very picky about Mexican food! So maybe I'm a bit of a snob.My wife was really stoked to try Maya. We went on a Friday afternoon, a bit later than lunch time. Very small dining room - I was glad to see that they did offer table service! (It initially appeared that quick serve might be the only option.)I thought the chips were good, although not many of them were provided in the small dish. However, we did get a refill on chips at no charge (I think). The salsa was interesting enough to keep my attention. It initially seemed bland, but it had a sneaky spice that snuck up on you. I'll give a thumbs up on the salsa, just for its sneakiness, which kept it interesting. My wife and I both ordered a cheese enchilada and a shredded beef taco. The combination came with rice and beans. My wife said she really liked hers. I wasn't that impressed with mine. It wasn't bad by any means, but it also wasn't anything impressive. It certainly wasn't anything I can't get elsewhere, however, the prices were fair (considering), and the service was good. I liked the ambiance, and would perhaps pick Maya, over some of the other choices in Prescott, just because it's clearly a small family run business. While I wish I could rave about what I had, I just can't. However, I will go back and try some other dishes, and maybe I'll find something unique or special that stands out in some way. I want something. I can't get any place else or that's better than anyone else's. What might that be at Maya's??

The food is delicious. I've been there many times. It's easy to spot as you drive on Montezuma because of the bright colored picnic table. I love eating outside when I can. Unpretentious and always with great service, and that is impressive when you see how many orders they fill for pickup, catering, and those dining in. My friends and I have ordered many things on the menu. Chilli relleno, burrito, and more. I sampled my friends fish taco, and it was wonderful to see and taste good ingredients. (Non of that battered and deep fried fish) The meat eaters were happy too. I use the salsa on everything because I love it. Everything is fresh.Parking: Parallel parking. If you want to walk, park on a sie street. There are nearby shops. NOAH thrift is not far and the Native Garden store as well. Native plants without neonicitinoids!Wheelchair accessibility: It's all ground level. If you require a large bathroom, it could be difficult.

Oh my gosh this is the best Mexican restaurant. The absolute best. It's surprisingly hard to find GREAT Mexican food, even in Arizona ironically. But this place is an absolute gem.GET THE MOLE!!!!!!!The mole at Maya was hands down better than the mole at Michelin starred restaurant Casa Enrique in NYC.I can't stop thinking about this restaurant and wish I lived in Prescott solely so I could eat here every day. If you are in Arizona, even if Prescott is out of your way, make an exception and go here and get the mole!!!Maya Restaurant you guys are rock stars....I love you!!

I live in Tucson AZ and this restaurant is a hidden gem. It is the best Mexican food I've ever had. It is on the outskirts of town and has street parking.

The worst mexican food we had.the fish enchiladas....BADthe tortilla was barely warm...the salsa looked like ketchup and tasted horrible like baby food texture had no taste at all..the rice was all broken dry and had no taste. The beans were dry. I asked for no cheese and still served with.My son had a burrito same thing because they used the same rice and beans the Carne was overcooked..We noticed the waitress was busy and never ever checked on us at all.just BAD BAD BAD no never to return ever again.
