Celebrated my husband's birthday at Murphy's. Waitstaff was very attentive, quiet seating requested was very acceptable, drinks were excellent and food was filling and fairly priced. We had manhattans up which were perfectly made. My husband had the catfish and I had the beet salad with added protein (steak). A complimentary dessert was a hit for my cake loving husband.
We had a great meal as well as a great server. The problem was four of us were crammed into a small booth with no legroom. I asked for a table but they were all reserved. I know better now. I had asked to be seated on the mezzanine level but was told they were not serving up there. I wondered why since they had a full house. All in all it was fine except for the seating.
Went in on a Sunday for Brunch - made reservations but didn't end up needing them as it was pretty slow in there. When we walked in, it looked like there were maybe 8 - 10 tables full with mostly parties of 2. We were greeted quickly and given water and muffins and provided our drink orders (Irish Coffee and a Bloody Mary).
