Decided not to eat here after watching the cook/cashier wipe her knife with her dirty apron & bare-hand lettuce and toast for sandwiches.
Had lunch here with my family for the first time absolutely amazing!! Owner is pure joy and her potato salad was delicious, sandwiches were incredible also! 10/10 recommend!!!!!

It's our second time here, and another fantastic, delicious meal! I had a sandwich with roast beef and pastrami, and my wife had one with roast beef, onions and gravy. Both tasted amazing! Speed's Hangar Deli is officially our favorite deli!

I can only describe the food that comes out of this deli as a reward. There is never a moment I second guess wanting to eat here and there's NEVER a moment regret choosing to eat here. The service is wonderful, a super nice lady with a unique sense of humor that catches you laughing harder than you usually do. The only thing better than the food is the atmosphere, speeds HANGAR deli lives up to its name! With military propaganda covering the walls as well as real notes and pictures from the owner and her family / friends there's a thousand stories covering the walls... Not to mention the names you'll find on the menu. The fatman is my favorite!!!!

Speeds is a great place to go for an awesome sandwich. You get more than you pay for in my opinion. The people complaining about the atmosphere are ridiculous. Don't go to a small town deli and expect the Savoy. This place is excellent if you appreciate the little details.

Sandwich was ok. Gave me both ends of the tomato... Owner/worker has a rude vibe. But I think it's her personality. Cute inside, personalized lil shop. Potatoes in the potato salad a bit too hard for my liking.

First time going here, and it will be the last.
The restaurant is very small, dark, and cluttered with papers/photos on the wall. Some sort of mesh hanging from the ceiling with dried flowers (?) tucked in it. Only 1 person was working, and I am guessing she was the owner. We waited 5 minutes to put in our order, and since we hadn't been there before, we weren't sure how what the choices were because the menu was not that clear. I asked for a BLT, and had my finger on the middle one. The lady said, "just tell me the name". Meaning the plane-themed names for each style of BLT. I asked if there was options of sub-length, because the menu showed something about 6, 8, & 12 inches. But I guess that is for a baguette only. My friend wanted a turkey on sourdough but thought it would be a sub. The owner rudely said "That's not how it works. Just tell me what sandwich I am making" my friend also wanted Mac salad.
We asked for it to go, waited about 5 minutes, and she said it was ready. I asked how much it was. Her response was "Well, give me a minute to ring it up, I'm not magic".
The sandwiches were very good. The Mac salad was very runny and not good.
I'm not sure how someone can run a business and treat customers the way she did. I will never go back, nor will my friend.
Parking: Spaces on side of building, but if you use a cane or walker, don't go in front of the cars. The spaces have curbs in front that are too close to the wall to walk through.

Speed’s has always had a special little place in my heart. Absolutely love the sandwiches here, you literally get what you pay for which is a massive pile of meat on your sandwich. My first sandwich here was back in the early 2000s and every time I return (which has been well over a decade now), I’m thrilled to see that this shop is still open. On my latest visit I had a long conversation with Deb about the old times, old friends, and her future dream to open an animal sanctuary. Deb, I wish you the best in your adventures, and for the continued success of your business! -John

I just found this hidden gem yesterday! I was craving a delicious sandwich and Speeds delivered! It was the best sandwich I have ever had. I am still thinking about it today! The menu is diverse and there are so many choices it was hard for me to decide. The atmosphere is homey and vintage which I loved. It is just such a fantastic place! I highly recommend going if you get the chance. I am going back next week to try another amazing sandwich. One of the best places in Prescott! I am so glad I found such a unique place and with such delicious food!
