Finally found a nice hot espresso made perfectly in AZ. Coming from the Pacific NW that's hard to find. The staff was very friendly and the manager even acknowledged our 14 year old son and told him he looked like a good upstanding citizen. As far as the bad reviews made recently; I think we need to trade places. We'll love it here and you'll love Seattle.

If you like racism, sexism, a weird vibe, and terrible coffee then the Espresso Barn is for you. My wife and I tried this place on January 2nd, 2021. We saw the place had previously had a Re-Grand Opening sign outside. We read the reviews in the past and decided not to go because of all the negativity, however we thought with it being a re-grand opening there maybe hope. Before even entering the Espresso Barn the back smelled of marijuana. That was our red flag warning. As we entered the Espresso Barn there were 6 people in it who stared at us and just seemed weird. One of these 6 people was the owner speaking to a couple in a booth. Then we proceeded to order our coffee after a five-minute wait. The only person behind the counter was a very old man who acted flustered and like he had no idea what he was doing. My wife ordered first, she ordered a blended white mocha which is called the "Spotted Cow" on the menu. The drink came out room temperature, no ice, and appeared to be chocolate milk. Needless to say, it was not good. Then this older man which according to the other reviews name is McCoy and the only 73-year-old disabled veteran in Prescott, Arizona. Being a disabled veteran myself and who has worked with many other disabled veterans in town that is a false claim. I also know being a veteran how to treat customers and people with respect regardless of beliefs or sex or the color of their skin. This older man went on and on about how women need to be put in their place, Californians need to leave Prescott, used the "N" word, and how to train dogs by beating them. The Espresso Barn is not a place we will be returning, and I would highly suggest you continue down the road to Scooters Coffee, Firehouse Coffee Company or the Merchant Coffee inside the veteran owned and operated Founding Fathers Collective.

The manager is a disgusting, sexist, racist old white man. He doesn't "believe" in covid and told people to take their masks off, he openly talked about his hatred for women and the fact that "you aren't allowed to hit women when they deserve it". I'm shocked that such a person is still in business and I'm severely disappointed in Prescott for supporting a place like this. If you care at all about basic human rights this is NOT the place for you.

Very eclectic little coffee shop. I had the Goat and it was a very nice mocha with both chocolate and white chocolate. My wife had the apple carmel cider and said it was one of the best hot apple ciders she has ever had.

I Love hanging out here. Great coffee and bakery items, ice cream floats. The owner and staff are friendly and warm. 50's diner atmosphere is awesome. They double as the Prescott comedy venue on Friday evenings. Check it out, this place always makes me happy.

If you really want an awesome cup of coffee go here and stay the hell away from the gas station.

The Espresso Barn is AMAZING!!! We stayed at the Best Western in Prescott, and this coffee place was conveniently next door. First of all, the staff was so nice , and the diner motif is really charming! Most importantly, the coffee and espresso drinks we tried over a couple visits were unbelievably delicious!!! If you need a coffee or espresso fix, you must give this barn shot!

Absolutely love the warm, friendly energy of this place! Also, the coffee is top notch. Tried both the Pumpkin Spice Latte and the Spotted Cow. I really appreciate how they don't over sweeten their drinks like chain coffee shops that shall not be named....

Nice unique place to get some specialty drink. The cute girl behind the counter was very nice and positive. She engaged in meaningful kindness with my 4 year old son and made him an awesome hot chocolate. My drink was very good and she even put her rep on the line to say if you don't like it I'll make you something else; which gave me confidence to order something out of my comfort zone. I am glad I did. Looking forward to returning.
