This was an interesting place. Sort of like a teen hangout. I wasn't really sure i had walked into the right place at first. But they made a fantastic cup of iced coffee.

The Launch Pad is such a wonderful place for the kids, it’s been great for mine. Love what they do and stand for. The Moon Cafe is top notch and has become part of my regular routine. Good coffee, good food and great service. Just like any place you want to go back to, the people make the difference.

We had high expectations for this dinner at The Finn. I had been told it was a great dining experience. It did not meet our expectations. The service was very good and attentive. The food was the big let down. We ordered the Bacon Shrimp GF Roasted Mexican white shrimp served on a cilantro-lime slaw with a honey drizzle. Well they forgot the bacon and when we brought it up they were sorry but obviously lost the recipe for the appetizer. The salmon was ok nothing to brag about. The Filet was good. The vegetables were a yellow squash not distinguishable and less taste. Most likely we will not go back. The venue was fantastic with wonderful views but not at the cost of mediocre food. We also had their special cookie in a frying pan with ice cream. Good taste but undone in the middle, so we did not eat that part.

I wanted to see what The Launch Pad was all about. Catherine very graciously gave me a tour and explained the various components of the organization. I was very impressed. On my way out, I got a cup of decaf Americana at the Moon Cafe. It was excellent. I shop a lot of coffee bars so I believe I have a good sense of what a good cup of coffee is all about. Keep up the good work! Prescott is lucky to have such a gem for its youth. I wish all of you a healthy, happy and wonderful holiday season.

I love this place! Great sandwich (grilled cheese w/4 kinds of cheese), a delicious macchiato & fabulous service … all supporting teen learning and confidence … win, win, win!

Parking: Parking is a little tight — for some reason the main parking lot is blocked off.

They had amazing service and even gave suggestions. Very good quality, good food, and good prices.

We came for the view and were advised to make reservations for Sunday brunch for our party of three. Not sure why since the restaurant was mostly empty for the time we were there. Of the three different entrees we ordered, two were mediocre and one was a true embarrassment. Hamburger was ok. Eggs Benedict was ok. Avocado Toast was just…please take that off the menu or learn how to make it shine. Avocado toast is supposed to be simple, but it shouldn’t look sad. And the avocado slices should not look as if they were shaved with a razor. I wish I had taken a photo of the Sad Avocado Toast but it was just too depressing to do so. Chef in general needs a lesson in presentation. Hey, And the breakfast potatoes were merely French fries in smaller pieces. If you want a view, maybe go for drinks…though two of the three of those we had weren’t that great either.

My two daughters and I have been touring local Prescott cafes trying their version of avocado toast. The Moon Cafe’s avocado toast is delicious! The day we were there they were out of sprouts, which I am sure would add another great layer, but even without it the toast was great.

Kid-friendliness: The Moon Cafe is located in The Launch Pad teen center. Kid friendly is what they are all about.

Dietary restrictions: I love that their menu has the ingredients listed under each item and some are labeled with certain allergy awareness symbols.
