A Truly Unforgettable Evening at Torme From the moment we stepped into Torme’s warmly lit, intimate bungalow on Valley Street in Prescott, we knew this would be no ordinary dinner- it was an experience. Billy, our waiter, guided us through the night’s specials with genuine warmth and expertise. We began with the olive oil–rosemary focaccia, carrot slaw, and house-made Boursin cheese. The first bite was beyond delicious. I knew that my reaction was noticeable. Billy simply said, “Everything is like that.” He was right. For my entrée, I had a house-made pasta special featuring shiitake mushrooms and perfectly seared, succulent scallops. My son and his friends opted for the steak course and were equally blown away by the perfectly cooked steaks and vegetables grown close by, and beautiful foods I cannot name, as I was too focused on noodles I had never experienced before. The silky lemon curd pie dessert is enchanting. I will be calling to request a whole pie. Our four-course dinner was a masterclass in flavor pairing—simple yet exquisite, with each plate showcasing fresh … well, everything. The following morning, I looked up Torme and found it, “stands out as Prescott’s premier modern Italian trattoria.” A true statement for sure. To anyone looking for more than a meal—who wants a special evening that speaks to all the senses—Torme is the place. Ask for Billy. I had a wonderful dinner experience this past Monday. We had a group of four with two of those being new acquaintances to me. Our server Billy recommended the special which was a filet with scallops and shrimp. Myself and another went with that and it was absolutely delicious. Billy also recommended the burrata appetizer which was fantastic but the bread and cheese/sweet potato served to the table first was even better! Billy was very attentive to our needs and even happily got me my very special Diet Coke with lime and cherries. My friend probably went through about ten sodas and a new one was always delivered before the last was finished. The night was filled with great conversation and ended up with two new friends by the end of the night! It was all capped off for me with the crème brûlée, my favorite dessert, which was done perfectly. Thank you all so much for a lovely evening. This was my second time visiting and I can’t wait to come back again soon!

Last night. Walked in with my group. Sat down. Smiling server put something on my table that looked like store-bought cornbread. Within less than a minute we were assaulted by a truly impressive number of flies. I and the rest of my party swiftly arose and headed for the door. As I left I promised the now frowning employee that we would not be back until after the management employed the services of an exterminator. (Actually, never!)

Went there last night. As we sat down at our table we adjusted the blinds. The blinds were dusty and dirty. Flies fell onto our table and the windowsill. It was disgusting filthy and we walked out. Being that they don't open until late afternoon maybe they should spend some time cleaning the place. I will never go back.

My husband and I dined at Torme. We Were very excited as we heard great reviews from other people around town. I was very disappointed. I ordered the Filet Torme, i ordered it Medium, and when it was served, it was BUTTERFLIED and cooked WELL DONE. A steak should not be butterflied, especially a nice cut like a filet. The server was also lacking in her service and seemed to not be knowledgeable about the dinner menu, she needed to go back and forth to kitchen to answer the simple questions i had. Never got a refill on our waters and after we got our meals she only came back once to hand us the check, never even asked if we enjoyed our meals or wanted dessert. This place needs work.
Tormé was excellent! I had a filet with shrimp and scallops in a creamy mushroom sauce - cooked to perfection. The homemade tortellinis in rose sauce were delicious as well. We sat inside because it was a bit warm when we arrived, but next time we will sit outside. The service was excellent too!

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Torme. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate, and the food was superb. All the meats (fillet, scallops and shrimp) was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the service was friendly and attentive. The price is on the high side but definitely worth it for a special occasion.

Went at the last minute for a special celebration. From the moment we walked in the entire staff was warm, inviting and familial. Service continued to be fun, warm and attentive and the food was A***. It’s a new regular for us!
