A lot to unpack here, first let’s talk about the food. I ordered a two meat, barbecue platter, with chicken and ribs, with a side salad and potato salad as my sides. Oh yeah, they have a three dollar up charge if you order ribs.
Food came out very fast, and the presentation was great. The first thing I tried was the potato salad, it was very good and tasted like homemade with fresh ingredients. Side salad was lackluster at best, both the chicken and ribs came out, smothered in barbecue sauce, if I would’ve known, I would’ve had him hold the barbecue sauce. Chicken was decent, will definitely order it again. But I have to say for a three dollar up charge. The ribs were absolutely horrible, overcooked, and dry like they have either been in the smoker for too long or under a heat lamp for too long. The free cornbread you get on the side is quite good as well.
Service was fantastic, she was nice, patient, and explained any questions that I had about the menu.
Atmosphere is kind of strange, but kind of cool with his historic photos and memorabilia on the walls, Half cool and nostalgic and half very tacky. But at the end of the day, this is a barbecue place so I will accept it.
All in all, this was my first experience, I will definitely be back to try again. I would just expect better for $24.00.

Stopped here to get some food to enjoy while at Prescott's Bluegrass Festival and the muffuletta did not disappoint! I'm a native New Orleanian, so expectations were high. This sandwich was loaded with meat and cheese and plenty of olives on a good quality Italian bread-- not a round loaf, but very good nonetheless. I was warned that the half size would be plenty for two people, but I ordered a full size anyway. Guess who still has half a sandwich to take home?!?

5 stars all around. Delicious flavorfull food. Hard to choose just one item off the menu. They have Mac and cheese on Fridays and Saturdays. Does not disappoint! Can tell owner takes pride in the quality of food he serves.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Wheelchair accessibility: High top and low tables. Easy entry. Space to move around. Could be slightly cramped if all tables had people at them at the same time.

Once you’ve been there, you’ll be addicted with the uncle Bud’s food. I can tell that he is so proud of his food and I am totally in it. The corn bread is fantabulous! Only cons: I should drive an hour to get there from Sedona. 😆
Love this place! We met the owner at their previous location - fellow Yankee and a "dead-head" - instantly my new BFF. If you crave flavorful, hits your soul, must have more food; this is the place to go. Tastes like authentic Louisiana food, with a personal flare. I have to say, the low ranking stars are not warranted, and a bit nit-picking - decently priced for delicious eats!! More flavor and not as "smokey" as the other BBQ place on the corner. People make mistakes--One of my sides got missed (happens when you order lots) - called and they gave me a rain check since I didn't want to go back out. Friendly, clean, and cool stuff to look at on the walls! GO EAT HERE ~ YOUR BELLY WILL THANK YOU. 😊
This place is awesome, everything I've had from here is phenomenal very good fried okra. Cornbread is very good as well. Prices are also very good for what you get.
