Incredible! The outside is so unassuming... It is beautifully decorated inside and has very nice employees with a calm atmosphere. The sushi is very satisfying and I enjoyed the affordable egg drop soup that they offer. I am sure I will come again in the future.

Just had best mixed tempura in town, accompanied with seaweed salad. Shrimp was prepped properly and tender. Vegetables were traditional and included shiso leaves and lotus root, a rare treat. Asked for and got oroshi (grated daikon) in the sauce. Will return.

I get the same thing practically every time, but that doesn't change the fact that it's always perfect. The owner Erika is super sweet, and always a ten out of ten with her service. I only ever have an hour for lunch at work, and I always get to enjoy it here when I can. I'm always recommending this place to my friends. I even recommended to complete strangers. 100000/10 my favorite restaurant in the neighborhood!!!

I love Unsui! Been here a few times, and the tonkotsu ramen is absolutely phenomenal. The best, hands down. You can add a real soft-boiled, seasoned ramen egg (ajitsuke tamago) too, which seems to be so hard to find, even at ramen restaurants. The owner is so nice, the service is good, and the food is worth the wait. One of my favorite spots in Prescott!

Tried for dinner. First time here. Nice looking interior-we were surprised how nice the inside was. It was a Sunday evening so not too busy. Service was attentive and knowledgeable. Good was really good. There was vegan options for my wife. Good selection of sake and other drinks. Really good selections on the menu from ramen to sushi. We’ll be back for sure.

If you want to try a Japanese savory pancake called “Okonomiyaki” cooked on a Teppanyaki grill, Unsui is the place to be. It’s authentic and delicious! May still be an off the menu item so I’d recommend to call ahead and make a reservation.

We traveled from Hawaii to Prescott to drop off our son for college and stumbled upon this place. Had 2 meals (one dinner and 1 lunch) and the food was great. We've been to Japan and this is the best Japanese restaurant in the area. Authentic and the host was so friendly.

If you are looking for authentic Japanese Cuisine then Unsui is where you will find it! The food is fresh made, it is delicious, and exactly what you would find in Japan. The portions are generous and the staff is very attentive. We can’t wait to go back and try more dishes.

I had a fantastic lunch at Unsui Japanese Restaurant in Prescott, AZ, and it’s already a new favorite! The ramen I ordered was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and perfectly crafted, hands-down some of the best I’ve tasted. My wife and son loved their sushi, raving about its freshness and amazing taste. Our server was a standout; despite being the only one managing 4-5 tables, he was incredibly attentive and efficient, ensuring we had everything we needed with a friendly demeanor. I was surprised it wasn’t busier for lunch given the exceptional food and service! My only criticism is that the restaurant was quite warm, and the air felt a bit stale. Still, Unsui is one I’ll be recommending to family and friends and adding to my regular dining rotation. Highly recommend checking it out!
