Worst experience I think I’ve ever had interviewing at a place, me and the manager scheduled a interview I showed up today the manager wasn’t there, I sat there for half an hour waiting on them and ended up just leaving but anyone that’s looking for a job I definitely don’t recommend this place!

One of my favorite restaurants in Prescott, each item is unique with its own varying depth of palate (unlike the chain that moved into town a couple of years ago where every dish taste exactly the same). We have always been treated well here with very fast delivery of excellent food. My kids say the sushi here is the best they’ve had, and I agree. With it being freshly made and a wonderful toasted sesame mixed in with the rice, I’m really surprised it’s actually cheaper than your standard grocery store fare. The soft shelled crab appetizer (a bit expensive, but worth it!) is excellent along with the baby octopus. With the standard kirin and Sapporo on tap and sake flights, a great ambience with classical/jazz piano on the sound track, you can’t go wrong. Enjoy this hidden gem!

Literally..... the best authentic Japanese restaurant ive ever eaten at and its not even close. Id recommend a dish however everything on the menu is incredible .I've been in the industry a loong time my girlfriend currently works here so i frequent the restaurant often. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful it's quiet, serene, soft Japanese music is in the background. Friendly welcoming service and the food.... where do i begin. It is absolutely authentic cuisine every thing I've had has been incredible the portion sizes are perfect and the pricing is more than reasonable to eat here. The sushi is extremely fresh and is plated beautifully by the chef. They put a lot of effort and care into their dishes and it absolutely shows HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Can not rate higher than 5 stars otherwise I would. Please go and eat authentic Japanese cuisine it'll change your life. Erica the owner is amazing and the nicest owner I've ever met

What a treasure! The food here is amazing. The place is spotless. The dishes are authentic and so delicious. We had the squid salad and the cuke and seaweed salad. Next soft shelled crab and shrimp shumai. The sauces are homemade and exceptional. Then we both had sushi rolls. Rainbow for me and jalapeño and yellowtail for the hubby. Outstanding. It is a bit pricey but the quality is so worth the money. The glasses did not have a finger print or water spot anywhere and were sparkling and plates the food is served are all different and add to the authentic experience. We highly recommend this restaurant

First time in with, party of four (dinner, drinks and dessert). Clean atmosphere, very much appreciated!! Read the reviews on Ramon bowl, had to try it and it was fantastic. Ramon was so good got an order to go.

Had both the Hamachi sashimi’s, the belly was my favorite.

Rolls, Dynamite and Vegas, both were excellent!

Hello all, My husband and I have eaten at Unsui Japanese Restaurant several times and love it. The owners are wonderful people and the food is delicious. The husband is an accomplished chef in Japanese cuisine and prepares exceptional dishes. I would encourage you to try it out for a date night or gathering with friends/family.

I usually do not leave bad reviews but considering I had the worst service that i have ever had . I felt it was needed. The restaurant had a total of 4 guest in the restaurant. Including myself and husband. We placed our orders. My soup and entree arrived. By the time my husband's sushi roll arrived. I was done eating my entire meal. We told the waitress to cancel his other roll because she showed up with one only and he had ordered two. It took 40 minutes to make a roll? She said she could do nothing about it. There was more staff in the kitchen than customers. Poor service and food was not great at all. The roll wasn't even put together well and falling apart. We went on a Wednesday evening. I can't imagine this place on a weekend. Waitress only returned to our table to deliver the check. I do not recommend this place.

Best Chicken Katsu in town! Had a decent wait time and the food was hot and fresh when I received it. The egg and chicken were both very savory. I’m surprised to see the place isn’t very busy. Will definitely be coming back!

I have twice traveled to Tokyo in the last year+ so I can compare cuisine - Unsui is authentic Japanese food. Every dish we ordered was exquisitely prepared, and I loved the delicious meal enjoyed there last Saturday night ~

We went for sushi, which was good, but we've had as good or better elsewhere. The staff was very nice and welcoming, but they were very understaffed. This made service very slow.

Love the food and service. This hidden gem is becoming much more well known. Glad to see this restaurant do well as we hope to have Unsui in Prescott for many years. The owners exhibit great passion and enthusiasm for preparing and serving fabulous food to the pleasure of their customers.
