A hidden gem! Owner and regulars were very welcoming and so sweet. The food might be served on paper plates but it’s the best breakfast you’ll ever eat. Everything is homemade and delicious! The cinnamon rolls are a MUST have! Wonderful stop with wonderful people 💜

I’ve been on the road camping for about 5 weeks. Woke up chilly today and didn’t feel like getting everything out to cook breakfast. Stopped in for some biscuits and gravy with an egg OM and a sausage patty, large mocha. Super friendly staff and customers. Coffee was delicious, food came out hot, fast and was delicious. Also got an OJ. Was out the door with my food and coffee in under 10 minutes. Definitely recommend for a simple breakfast and delicious coffee

Stopped in during a road trip and couldn’t have picked a better spot. The staff were incredibly kind, and both the food and drinks were excellent. It was a great break from the road, and I’d happily stop in again next time through.

Basics is a perfect name. It has just the basics. I highly recommend the biscuit and gravy with an egg on top. The cinnamon rolls are superb as are the coffee selections. They ask for a name for the order we'll my name is Marc I'm so used to saying it as Marc with a C. The next day I went in I was greeted with Good Morning Marc with a C. Nice feeling. Thanks
