I tell you THIS.. this is Sharp quaint location, and people tell you how the ownership treats their customers no Styrofoam to go boxes do you know how important that is ..! that means that they care about their customers.!! And the customers health.. ! Thank you owners..!! Please keep your business on customer health instead of profits..! ( great food).. probably NO… Cisco foods or any other garbage distributing food company’s.. every thing there seems to be home made food..!

Let me start by saying I have eaten at both locations several times but tonight was the worst experience we have ever had at any restaurant. No manager at either location and the staff at the location on Main Street was so poor it is hard to believe. We were seated by a gentleman who made sure the table was clean but he did not provide utensils for us. The waitress comes to the table takes our drink order but gets my order wrong, I ordered a root beer and she brought a raspberry iced tea. We placed our order but my drink had not been corrected yet. I brought a friend and it was her first a last time there. She ordered a tuna melt. The toasted bread was cold but the tuna came straight from the fridge along with the cheese none of which had been grilled or even heated, she ordered potato salad as her side but she got a side salad, as did I, my husband order soup. The salads come no utensils still so we ended up eating our salads with our fingers. My husband asked about his soup and she said give me a minute. Still no root beer. Then the meal comes and aside from the cold tuna melt my husband still got no soup and the gravy was not the normal good flavor it was very flour tasting. We asked for utensils again and finally got them. But still no soup but I finally got my root beer. The waitress never came back to the table until she brought the bill at which time we told her about the tuna melt and reminded her we had our salad with our fingers. We were still charged for the tuna melt and I do agree the host had slammed her with to many tables at once not taking care of any of the issues is just unacceptable. Oh back to the soup after he finished his dinner which he ordered the bone in ham steak but was served the smaller one we were the. Told they ran out of soup. So he asked for a salad to go and that took 5 requests to get it so we could leave. I would normally never post a review such as this but not having anyone in either other restaurants to speak with is just unacceptable. Yes I did call the original location asking for a manager there when we were told no one was at our location. I asked about the owners and was told they only go after closing. Right now the town is loaded with people but our wait to be seated was less than 5 minutes and no the place was not packed like other places in town. This must be because they are going down hill without proper management when the owners are not in the restaurant. No owner can run two locations without having good people in charge when they are not present. I am not sure I will ever go back because tonight was the worst experience we have ever had at any restaurant and since retirement we eat out several times a week. I don’t enjoy food trucks as I enjoy a good sit down place but quartzsite will not have anything if things don’t change soon. I also tried to send a message rather than post public but it would not connect to messages. So here I am exposing dirty laundry so to speak all because no manager was available to assist during the meal and no way to contact anyone with authority to do anything for us. I am sorry to say I do not recommend this place until something changes.
We had a stop during our drive to Tucson. Really lovely service and tasty food!

Stopped by the new 2nd location off of Main St. (the old three times building). Looks different, now white n' black outside no longer green.
Clean and crisp new look, friendly and efficient service, great food. The menu has a little of everything at a fair cost.

Lovely little cafe in the heart of Quartzite! The food was absolutely delicious (I had the New York-style Ruben) and the staff were welcoming and just sweet overall. We look forward to rolling through again!

The food wasn’t that good. I had a Tuna sandwich. I don’t care for mayo and it was quite flat. It needed something. The potatoe salad was awful too. Not sure if I will eat there again.

Great food and service. Only suggestion would be more tea bags when making tea, mine was more watered down it seems but the food and service made up for minor detail.

I went to the original location for lunch. Having had good experiences last year, I was looking forward to a good meal. As it turned out, I was disappointed. I ordered a grilled turkey sandwich & tater tots. The tater tots hadn't been salted & I'm not sure what or why there were blacks chunks of something in them. The turkey sandwich was a big disappointment. There was hardly any turkey or cheese & the bread was barely toasted. The bacon strips were quite hard.
I have no complaints about the service. The waiter was very attentive. I did tell him I was disappointed in the sandwich. I'll try the new location next time in hopes of a better cook & a better bang for my buck!
Was able to find something to eat GF. Hubby got liver n onions that he says we're superb!!

Have had some good things here but today's Rueben and Pastrami were a bit unusual. The rueben was described in the menu like you expect, but the sandwich that arrived had melted cheese and no 1000 island. The pastrami was also missing the dressing. They were both okay, but I think the chef took some liberties.

I had the most wonderful time at Mountain Quail Cafe this evening. The smiley face whipped cream on my pie really made my day! Shout out to the waiter Jim for his excellent service and a truly welcoming environment.
