I finally took a trip with the wife and we had lunch at bario queen and I must say I was very impressed.I really loved the atmosphere and our server was definitely on point. She didn't have to ask us for refills. And let me tell you the food was phenomenal. It was very delicious.I definitely intend on returning with friends and family to enjoy their culinary delights

Order the Queen Enchiladas online. Picked up my order and it’s a meatless enchilada. Mind you I’ve ordered these at the restaurant and they came with chicken. I called the store and she explained that they don’t come with chicken and you can add it. Welp how would I know that if it isn’t mentioned on the website and you’re not given an option to add protein online. I offered to bring the food back and asked for a refund. She said she has to send an email to request a refund and it’ll take a few days. What a bunch of nonsense!! It didn’t take them a few days to take my money while having their hand out for a tip for a mobile order!! They need to get a better POS system and update their website to properly reflect their menu. Oh and Hannah needs to learn some manners!

I hate to say this, but this is the worst Barrio Queen and probably the worst restaurant in Queen Creek. Happy Hour on a Sunday at 3pm. 10 people in the restaurant. Sit at the bar, takes 5 minutes to get a menu. 5 more minutes to be able to order. Then 20 minutes to get the quesadilla appetizer. On top of all that, rude service and the food was almost cold. Save your money, time, and frustration, go elsewhere.

I live near this location, and I have been here at least 10x. I am a fan of Barrio Queen in general, but the Queen Creek location is egregiously slow. I continue to try and give them a chance so I don't have to drive out of my way to Gilbert, but I'm never coming back here. If you're fine waiting hours for food and drinks, then you'll be fine here. The bartenders are always unfriendly and annoyed. The service is just horrible, and not worth the annoyance. Food and drinks are good when you finally get them.
Love this place. The chips and salsa (used to be) amazing and the house margaritas are really good. The blueberry one was my favorite. Forgot the exact name.
Please for the love of everything holy, go back to your old chips!! Not the Cysco cheapo chips.

First time to Happy Hour! Love the menu choices for appetizers and great prices. Hope to be back again soon.
We LOVED coming here for birthdays and date night all the time! (For years Since they opened)
My husband requested this restaurant EVERY year for his Bday.. Seriously came here for the chips and salsa.. We recently came here for date night on Friday 11/14 and we were SOOOO disappointed in the food, especially the chips!! They are so thin and soggy now. Sadly we will not be returning anytime soon. I had ordered some steak dish from their seasonal menu and the steak had absolutely no flavor, I mean like no salt.. just plain meat. And so hard to cut, it was almost like the cut of beef was cheap or fatty. I’m not one to leave a bad review but since they became corporate now it’s not the same. The waiter was so sweet and took care of my dish. But after years of great food, this was the first underwhelming experience with their food. Hope they go back to how things use to be!

1st time visiting and will return. Guacamole table side is excellent! Everyone enjoyed their food and service was great!
In the past, Barrio Queen had the best chips, salsa, and tortillas of any Mexican restaurant. Now they have replaced their chips with a thin greasy, and very salty version. The salsa was tasteless and the tortilla dry and tasteless. Our waiter shared that other customers have made the same comments. I won’t be returning to dine at their restaurant until they return to serving quality chips, salsa, and tortillas. Our waiter’s service was polite and efficient. The filling in my tortilla was still tasty. J
