The food was excellent, the restaurant was clean. The staff was super friendly. However their AC unit was out and was pretty horrible inside. I'll still be returning!
Food is good. It's basically Chipotle with a few more options. The tortillas taste better. The three star rating is for no air-conditioning in the restaurant. Either someone is being cheap or the landlord needs to fix it. The owners should see if a broken air-conditioning breaks their lease so they could move to a location witn cool air. Will never come back to this particular location.
I had bugs in my tacos for dinner tonight!!! I finished one and looked down and there was a lady bug in it so I looked through my other taco and there was another kind of black bug inside of it! I have tried calling 5 times and no pick up..
Food poisoning!!!My fiancée was sick for two days straight after eating here. After reading all of the other reviews I’m sad to say I’m not surprised. Do better.
One of my favorite restaurants, except for this location. I gave this place two chances too. The first time the cashier dropped the store phone in the guacamole, but was gracious enough to remove the fly-infested salsa. The second time I almost chipped a tooth biting into a burnt pepper in the salsa and the chicken was old and rubbery. Do NOT come here.
So I love Costa Vida but this…this was disappointing. I’m giving this one star because the food was edible and the employees were nice, but I had a lot of problems with the service. I used to work for fast food so I know the rules of sanitation. They were constantly wiping stuff from their hands on to their aprons and then still touching the food. The service was extremely slow which resulted in my tacos being soggy. Also, the tortillas were weird that were used for my tacos. They weren’t round, they were jagged like they’d been torn. My friend got nachos and they were stingy with the queso sauce which left half the chips totally plain. Furthermore, the sweet pork was very dry. They also charged us for our small sides which we only got because they were skimpy with the food originally. This isn’t the usual experience I have at Costa Vida and it was really frustrating.
so today I decided to grab a quick lunch to take home and finish off my work day.. I ordered a steak burrito with double meat....no biggie I understand and expected an additional fee for double meat. the lady making the burrito never said there was an additonal fee but I was expecting one. the kid rings me up and I proceed to pay not thinking about it I insert my card. Then I see the total. $20.50. I asked why it was over $20 bucks, mind you no additional items just a $8.99 burrito. he said double steak and steak is expensive. I said I should have just bought two burritos it would have been cheaper and he was like probably. I should have just gone to Nandos and had a full meal and chips and salsa for that price.
The menu is not hugely diverse but is very tasty. The burrito is huge and awesome with the beef. For a smaller entree, try the enchilada. Trinity was so helpful as it was my first time at this establishment.
This place has been hit and miss for me over the years. (8 or 9?) Sometime I had a good experience and others were just plain awful. I don’t know if management changed, or new franchise owner, not sure...but I’ve started coming here all the time even though the “other place” is closer. My salad is consistently a beautiful piece of art with no skimping on the toppings. Employees are super friendly and helpful. I love that they don’t charge extra for grilled chicken and I have my choice of a small or large salad. Now if only they’d get diet Dr Pepper on the fountain, I’d be 100% happy.
Come to this Costa Vida if you want to have a rootin and tootin time! The staff is the best of the best, this town is big enough only for them. You want the sweetest sweet pork? You want the freshest tortilla in the west? Then what in tarnation are you doing? Come to this Costa Vida!

The food is always good, it isn't always what I would call fast, especially if there is line, but it is worth the wait.
We have a food allergy concern in our family that the staff seemed very bothered to have to answer questions about. When we settled on a cheese quesadilla, as it seemed to be the only possibly safe option, the still managed to serve us something that made one of us very sick.We won't be back. Thanks for an awful experience.
This place is so good! The sweet pork is amazing no matter how you eat it. Friendly staff that goes out of their way for you. It can get pretty busy especially on the weekends but totally worth a little patience.
Recently as I’ve been on an expedition around the globe (trying to beat 80 days) I’ve suddenly had to stop in the town of queen creek Arizona, now let me tell you I believe I have found a hidden gem in the form of sweet Mexican inspired fresh food. I couldn’t of happened upon a greater, fresher, more amazing burrito. The staff is more then helpful there’s one fellow named Christian (pure coincidence) who is outstanding with a spatula. You can tell they really put in the work to train and perfect their staff. I really loved eating at Costa Rica!!!
Amazing service as well as the most delicious food (sweet pork is the best) can’t wait to come back again. Clean lobby and dining area definitely family friendly!!
