I have eaten here a few times which were okay but today was the worst experience yet, I called placed an order over the phone for some purposes and tamales that she said would be ready in 40min. Picked up my order got home and my tamales were literally mush! I called and spoke to the same woman older woman who was extremely unnecessarily rude! I explained that they were mush and if after sitting for a bit if they do not firm up I would be taking them back especially because of how expensive they are (I pd over $32 just for me!) and all she said was let them sit and hung up on me! If I have ever had an issue at a restaurant they were always happy to make it right especially if it's their doing. I hope you all dont have an issue at this establishment because if you do be prepared for the defensive rude treatment!

Very authentic Salvadoran pupusas that taste just like the homemade ones my Salvadoran friends make. Very happy to have Maritza's in Queen Creek! For anyone who has never tried pupusas you are missing out and should definitely give Maritza's a try!

Maritza's is a Salvadoran gem in Queen Creek. The pupusas are consistently hot, fresh and flavorful. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is wonderful.

Most authentic pupusas I had tried in the valley and I’ve been to quite a few. Food is great so is the service. We stop by here every time we have a reason to come to Queen creek.

First place I ate in AZ and it did not disappoint! Amazing and delicious food, fresh tamarind juice. Even tried the breakfast burrito a week later, superb.

Amazing little place with authentic foods. Will stop every time I'm in the area.
Great family place to go.
I came in for my first time at 6:50 and wasn’t aware they closed at 7. We just wanted to try it out because we heard it was good and wanted stopped by for a pupusas. I was talking to my boyfriend and mentioned oh they serve breakfast. I wasn’t planning on getting a breakfast item it was just good to know because I’ve never been there. The lady rudely interrupted me and said “actually we don’t serve breakfast right now, we close in 10 minutes and only to go orders” with a big attitude. I understand workers want to go home but I didn’t need her to respond to me that way or interrupt me while I wasn’t talking to her. I wasn’t aware of the time but they could’ve locked the doors if they were done serving customers. We also asked for a recommendation and she was rude about that too. Probably won’t be going back because of the terrible service and we only ordered one pupusa, it wasn’t a big order.
The owner was not very nice when I brought up an issue with a previous order. She instantly changed her attitude and even said the employee that I had spoken about the issue no longer worked there. If she would have handle the issue differently I would have understand.
We stopped here after hiking San tan. This place was so good! We had the taco plate, plantains, and pork pupusa. Great staff and food!
