Service was fast and friendly. There's sitting indoor/outdoor, plenty of parking, easily accesible. I just wasn't thrilled for their cooking. My first and last?♀️

It was not compatible with a Midwesterner’s palate. Go with caution.Dietary restrictions: Be sure what’s in it before you order.

First time in, I tried an assortment of pupusa, tamale, dessert, salsa and slaw. Food tasted great! Flavor wasn't an issue. If you are a texture person, this is fair warning. Everything was on the soft side besides the slaw. This is most likely the style and I'm not harping on it just wanted to give an honest review. I really enjoyed the tamale, they wrapped it in banana leaves and the portion didn't feel skimpy. Definitely would eat here again.

The pupusas here are delicious, and the atmosphere is good too. Great place to go if you want to try new food. My kids also love to eat here. 10/10 will come here again.
THE WORST PUPUSAS WE HAVE EVER EAT IN ARIZONA.We ordered cheese and scrambled eggs, the cheese ones were a bite of cheese and just dough, the scrambled eggs that my husband ate were horrible, both cheese and scrambled eggs, burnt, not toasted, in San Francisco, Ca we have eaten them for more than 30 years years and they are delicious. The pickled cabbage was in water, tasteless, a drop of vinegar for 99 of water. Now charging $3.99 for each flavorless and burnt pupusa is HORRIFYING.

A friend and I decided to finally try this place for the first time. We ordered 2 pupusas de chorizo con queso and one of beef and cheese. The beef and cheese was kind of disappointing as it needed for salt/flavor. However, the chorizo ones quickly made up for it as they were extremely delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try something different. I should’ve taken pictures!!

This place is a gem! The papusas, breakfast burritos and salsa are THE BOMB.. I'm in love with the cheese and jalapeño papusa. It tastes like a green corn tamale.

Fantastic hidden gem in Queen Creek!!!!!!Saw it a few times driving past and we decided to stop and try it out for lunch. Super glad we did. It was AMAZING! Pricing is super reasonable for what you get. The staff is friendly and ready to answer any questions you may have about their food. We tried a few different pupusas and they were all fantastic. Do not skip over the fried plantains- they were perfectly cooked. Our pupusas came with large side of salsa and the cabbage topping- both had a fantastic and fresh flavor. We got a boatload of food for about $30 and couldn't even finish it all.We will definitely be returning to Maritza's! In an area that is overrun with fast food and chain restaurants, this is breath of fresh air. Highly, highly recommend.
