I ordered my staple for my first visit to Mereno's. It's what I always do for a first visit. Taco, enchilada, beans, and rice. The food is very bland. Even the chips and salsa were just plain. The only flavor of the 3 dips for chips that had much flavor was the green salsa and it was just a sweet flavor. I don't think I'll give this restaurant a second try. Although, if you don't mind generic and bland, the food seemed decent quality. The seating is also pretty cramped.

Hadn't been here in a while and popped in for lunch on St. Patrick's Day. I had the mini chimmies, which were very tasty. However, the tortilla bowl my jalapeno cream cheese was served in had three gnats stuck to the underside. Service was a bit spotty as well. We had to wait a while to order, had to ask for silverware and napkins after the food was brought out, and waited for our last dish after two of the three were served. Not the greatest experience this time.

Usually, I'd rate this place a 4, but tonight's experience was disappointing. While dining here, I discovered there was no hand soap in the bathroom. It's concerning to think about how employees were washing their hands without soap. Hygiene is crucial.

We were very disappointed in Moreno's Mexican Grill . We love their food and the servers, but tonight we were suprised when we asked for onions in a cheese enchilada and discovered there is an up charge for that. Also asked for extra enchilada sause because they skimp on the sauce and it's delicious and was told there is a $2 upchage for that too. We understand upcharge for guac, sour cream etc. But onions and a couple of table spoons of sauce.
Morenos restaurant is a fun place. Upbeat people work there. Food is awesome.
