First time was not a great impression. Service was mediocre. Drinks took awhile to get out and when they did come the Bartender made my drink wrong order an extra dirty martini, he completely forgot the dirty part. Trio bruschetta was disappointing, bread was really hard and too much sauce. I ordered the veggie burger and fries... fries were definitely old and tasted like they had been sitting and they just flash fried them again. Didn't even eat more than 2. Overall just not great, such a bummer was really looking forward to going.

This is our new favorite spot in Queen Creek. The food was amazing, drinks were outstanding, and ambiance is spot on - nothing else is as well done in the QC area yet. The service was a little slow, but since they just opened I'd give them a little grace as they get things dialed - in everything else made it worthwhile. And the servers and bartenders were super helpful and friendly. - The brussel sprouts = delicious. I dont even love brussel sprouts and they were bomb. - The cajun noodles with blackened chicken = a little spicey for my wife, perfect for me, delicious for both of us. - The fried chicken club was killer. Literally, other than a little wait, overall outstanding experience.

Not sure what to say. 1:50 on a Friday afternoon. Seated outside as a couple. There’s a 2 top right next to us finishing up, and a 4-top two tables away.We wait for 15+min. The server for the two top has to literally go around us to cleanup the two top table. Actively avoids acknowledging us multiple times as the payment/busing of table takes place.On his FIFTH walk by he acknowledges us and asks if we’re waiting on a server. We say yes, and he says “he’ll go tell someone”.We wait another 5min and return to the unmanned checkin desk where we returned the menus and decided to give up.The menu looks really interesting! But we won’t be back until they’ve had time to figure out service.

Best fish and chips!! Wow! Fish was cooked perfectly without the often overcooked batter that can be rock hard! Plenty of fries and coleslaw was good. Service was good but very slow.

My wife was served cold chicken. She finally got her dinner hot. Then, while I was eating the fish and chips, I found a piece of glass in my fish. The owner came and took the piece of glass and said he "will talk to the chef". Owner never came back to the table. In fact, our server/manager was the only one to apologize for the issues. Kind of sad that the owner doesn't have the back bone to apologize or better yet, even come back to say anything. Our servers/managers name is Ashley Y. Ashley was amazing!

Some of the reviews are really bad so I was nervous going. We had a mostly positive experience. The restaurant is cute and remodeled since the previous restaurants that were in its place. It is very loud like others mentioned, but also what busy restaurant isn't. We waited 30 + minutes for a table because "the kitchen was backed up." However, multiple groups arrived after us and were sat before us. There were many open tables when we arrived at 5 on a Saturday night. Leaving at 6:45 is was packed! Our waitress was great. All 6 of us liked our food, food came out quickly. The fries weren't very good or fresh tasting. It wouldn't be my first choice when going out to eat but our experience wasn't as terrible as the other reviews made it out to be.

First time at Sage and Barrel. Liked the refurb. Fish n chips was a popular order tonight amongst our table of 9 and one of the best fish n chips ever. Salmon and pulled pork were also excellent. Extensive menu and our server was very pleasant and happy to answer all our questions. Looking forward to going back and trying more items on the menu.

Really cool place, so glad we found it! Very yummy food and drinks. We had a coffee flight and it was so good! Really great service, super friendly staff. We will definitely return.

I have tried twice. Once when they first opened and again this week. Food was not good either time. Ordered the beer cheese the first time, the bread was good but the beer sauce was flavorless. Second time I got the happy hour burger, I swear the cheese was kraft and the burger had zero flavor. The fries were pretty greasy and floppy, not crisp at all. On top of that, I got charged 25 cents each for onion, lettuce and tomato even though I requested no onion. Then I got charged 1.50 for ranch and 1.00 for mayo???? Although the bartender seems nice, it seems like it's still her first day and seemed overwhelmed even though the place only had ~20 people in it. On the positive side, they did remove the 3.5% fee to my bill :) But I think I ended up paying more for condiments :) I wish them the best of luck.
