Used to be one of my favorite places for breakfast but it has steadily degraded into being almost intolerable. The Biscuits and Gravy are still good, but the list ends there. At some point it would seam that the menu was changed to rely on freezer food.The chicken fried steak is something you would pick up at frys in the frozen food section. The Chilaquiles were attempted with packaged chips and ended up being more chips and salsa on a plate than Chilaquiles. The hashbrowns are watery and unseasoned. They should be embarrassed to serve what passes for beans.Skippy is there in the mornings but only checks on the tables he knows. Coffee can be scarce, even though you'll see staff walk by with the pot 3 or 4 times. The one overly loud guy with a strange laugh, rounds out the moderate service experience.Wish they would care, wish they would want to do better, but they dont seem to even notice.

Lots of locals. Nice to see all of the interaction. Food was meh. It could have been what we ordered (bean and cheese burrito and shredded beef tacos). I figured with Cantina in the name the food we ordered would be good. I couldn't get over the canned beans for my burrito. Beer was good and cold. We would give them another try, maybe.

We love Skippys. We go for breakfast after church on Sundays. The staff is just like family. I have the avocado toast and a pancake. Never disappoints. We also go for lunch and dinner.
Great food, though service was very slow. Appetizer showed up with the meals--after a considerable wait in a less than full room. Perhaps too large of a menu? Not the server's fault, but doubt we will return because of the very long wait for our food.

If you like neighborhood bars, you'll like Skippys. Their food is very good for the price you can't beat it.Waitresses are great atmosphere is good. I always enjoy going there.
