Too much focus on drive through orders and catering to whining customers, bumping them in front of our order.

We went through the drive through just a few moments ago. I ordered a pup cup for my dog who just diagnosed with terminal cancer this morning. I was a wreck in the drive through, crying and sobbing. The sweet woman gave my pup and extra pup cup, and paid for our coffees. I could barely even say thank you bc I was already sobbing. She briefly mentioned that her pup passed over the rainbow bridge too. And I am just so grateful for that ladies kindness in that moment. It’s something I will never forget.
Starbucks, high priced coffee that we love

They prioritize to-go and online orders before anything else. I sat there for over 15 mins waiting for a grande peppermint mocha… needless to say. Probably my last time here.

I am at Starbucks SNOB. I have an addiction to their coffee and their mugs. The girls at the Starbucks location are so friendly and awesome. I will say it is the busiest Starbucks I’ve ever been to so order ahead, way ahead.

I am very upset w Starbucks! I pay $7 for a drink and expect them to get it right! Out of 5 times only in was correct because I went inside and told them what I expected. Drive thru never works! I ordered a large Caramel Ribbon Crunch with lots of extra Crunch! Lots! My exact words. What I got had very little crunch on top. That was it! No extra! Not even normal. I don’t know what to do from here, except maybe the Barrustas need to slow down and read the full order!

Did a mobile order or if you got two small drinks and still waiting in the line for 27 minutes. No explanation no apologies. Just watered down drinks

Took forever to take care of us.. waited to order.. young lady was sweeping. Then took for ever to get our order. Our drinks were mostly ice. Didn't have time to get them fixed. On our way to a game.

Starbucks is always amazing!
9/11/25: I made the original post above, 2 years ago. But I'm back to say, this Starbucks location is STILL AMAZING! I've been going through the drive through lines in the mornings lately, and in most busy locations, I expect to be stuck waiting in that line for a while. But not this location! Somehow, no matter how busy they are, they keep that line moving swiftly! While coffee and food still made deliciously and with love! Whatever you guys are doing is working! Thanks for the great service and coffee/food. 😊

This is my favorite Starbucks location, I come here often and I always get my coffee made right! Not too strong not too sweet. Also I love their dragon drink drawing they put on my cup today!

I was picking up a door dash delivery as I picked up the order I asked for a cup of water. I was denied and told I can’t have water because I didn’t buy anything. I have bought so much Starbucks over the years and never asked for water. It’s inhumane to deny someone water when it’s over 100 outside and humid. I’ll stop spending money here and go to black rock.
I went to pick up my girlfriend after her car broke & had a late lunch. Very nice

Extremely Disappointed, Denied Water on a Hot Day
My fiancé and I were 6 miles into a long jog in Queen Creek, AZ. We had brought water with us but ran out in the heat (110 degrees). Wanting to stay safe and hydrated, we stopped at an our nearby Starbucks, a place we regularly visit and support, expecting we could quickly grab a cup of water.
Unfortunately, we had left our wallets at home and were denied water by the staff even though we explained our situation. There was no line, and the employees were just standing around talking. We weren’t asking for anything fancy, just a basic cup of water on a hot Arizona day.
As loyal customers, we were shocked and disappointed. That simple act of kindness being refused was enough to make a lasting impression. Our families and us will no longer be supporting Starbucks. It’s sad that common decency is no longer common.
