This place is exactly what I look for, the feel you get here is crazy! In a good way, the people, the food and the cook is awesome!! He's got a talent with food!!!

10/5 stars. This place is the epitome of customer service. The bartender and kitchen staff were exceptional. Great vibes and the food was 10/10. I had the 'bawk bawks' with spicy peach bbq and would go back just to order that again. TRY THE PICKLES.

Horrible food.. the ribs say they're smoked on the menu but they are definitely not smoked at all.. plus they are so tough.. the jojos were raw in the middle and the owner is rude.

It doest look like much from the outside but the food is fresh, home made and filling. The folks running the bar and kitchen are fun to talk to and pleasant. Differently deserving of another visit.

My family and friend’s family stopped on a whim after taking a day trip from the Grand Canyon. We read reviews online- and thought thought that the food was up our alley. We are are so glad that we stopped! Between all of us we sampled many dishes- and they were beyond excellent! Staff was friendly and was great to talk to! Please stop if you get a chance and check them out!

My wife and I had lunch here today based on other reviews. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and my wife had the fish and chips. Both came with a delicious potato salad and spicy pickles as a side. The main course for both of us was quite tasty. The cook delivered our food and then came back to check on how we were doing...I commented the meals were really good and that I bet their chicken would be really good if it had the same coating as the fish. Much to my surprise he returned a little later with a piece of chicken which I have brought home to eat and looking forward to it! This restaurant seems to be serving up some good food and the service was friendly and attentive as well. They are right off I17 exit and I would encourage folks to give them a try - this is not a white tablecloth kind of place, but the best places usually aren't.

i went to the Outpost yesterday The outpost was reasonably priced and had a wonderful small town feeling the food was great and most the staff was incredibly nice and i wish i could rate it a wonderful 5/5 stars however i did purchase a drink and after ordering i paid a bit more attention to behind the bar and the bald bartender with glasses was incredibly unsanitary!! not only was he touching his phone,face and picking his nose behind the bar, but as he started made other drinks he didn't wash his hands!! it made me uncomfortable and ended up just sticking to my water bottle would love to come back but just doesn't feel sanitary enough too

Wow. I don't often give reviews, but the food here was extraordinary. The best food I have had in a long long while. Even the side dishes were incredible. Usually, when I get potato salad or coleslaw at a restaurant, I sample it, and don't touch it again, never any good. At this place, the side dishes - potato salad, coleslaw, and fries - could have been main courses themselves. This guy is a culinary magician. If only all restaurants could taste like this. Well done!

Wow. Unexpected! What a gem. Owner was fun and passionate. Food was terrific. Everything was priced fairly. Worth the drive on your way back from Sedona.

The staff and food were truly excellent. Get whatever they have on special- it will be great. Also the chicken strips are huge and cooked perfectly.
Bartender was very funny and attentive. Kitchen staff came out to see how we liked the food.
Honestly this place was a wonderful surprise. Definitely will be back when we’re in the area

Don't underestimate a thing about this place, and if you're within a 20 mile radius, stop and get your meal here!

Meats are farm to table, and you can taste it in the chicken tenders. They have the best fried fish I've had in AZ, perfectly crisp but tender filets without being oily. I had a big group and we also really enjoyed the unique pizza combos and classic ribs.

My pizza got burnt so while they remade it, the staff kept us entertained with dad jokes, perfectly seasoned jojos, and a sweet treat. Planning on driving from Phoenix at least once a month for the food and good vibes.

And they have gluten free options!

Great place looks like a dive bar but the food and atmosphere inside does it all for you highly recommend this place. And dont forget to have the owner tell you a joke 🙂
