Last time I went i told the cashier chick 3 times that I wanted refried beans in my carne asada burrito. Guess I should have told her 4 times, because I got home and there were no beans ?

Watch the price - portion size is indicative of price. A small little place but good.

joe’s is and will always be one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. I want to personally think the man that saw my husband having issues with his wheelchair and took his order and payment from the car so that my disabled husband would have an easier time. we accidentally sound this place before we even moved to Rio Rico. we were looking for a house and stopped to have a bite for lunch. we each got three tacos (birria and carne asada) and were FLOORED at how delicious and authentic the food was! (and the condiments/sides ? wow!) we normally return once a week for the entire year we’ve been living here, and every single time the food, staff, and service have been more than exceptional. they treated my husband like beloved family.Joe’s has turned us into customers for life!!! thank you Joe’s!Wheelchair accessibility: Not only is Joe’s wheelchair accessible, one of the employees saw that My Husband was having issues with his wheelchair, the man saw this, and came right out to the car to take his order and process his payment for him so he didn’t have to overexert himself. He then delivered the food to the car window. Treated My Husband like a best friend would.

Bring your wallet and check book because Joe's is way too expensive for common Mexican traditional street food. We almost fainted when we saw the bill for 3 people eating basic Mexican fast food.Vegetarian options: Little or no vegetarian options and extremely expensive! Food is good but the buyers remorse of eating there makes you wonder if you ever want to dish out load of cash for local street tacos and Mexican cuisine.

I was visiting this small town and a couple locals suggested Joe's Place, so I decided to chance it. I was greeted by the bright smile and warm greeting of Nicole. Right away, I felt welcome and any reservations about trying out this new place evaporated. We discussed menu items, and I settled on a Carne Asada burro with cheese, salsa and guacamole, but not the beans. She confirmed my order and was gone. To my surprise, my food arrived within just a few minutes - hot and fresh. As I took my first bite, I confirmed my choice was golden. The meat was tender and perfect cooked. It was not way over-cooked as many places do. The salsa within was a bright balance of flavor and heat. The tortilla was fresh, like it was just made. After a couple of bites in, I realized the guacamole had been missed, but I was enjoying what I had in my mouth so much that I didn't want to let it go!Clearly a five-star experience.I definitely recommend going out of your way to stop here.

Though this resturant could easily be missed being a smaller building, it is certainly not lacking in authentic tasting Mexican food. We tried their bean and cheese burritos, cheese quesadilla, and tostadas. Each item tasted so good! We want to go back soon and try more items on the menu. They have fresh ingredients like salsa, limes, etc out where customers can add even more flavor to their plates. The staff were friendly. We highly enjoyed our visit!
