This restaurant is part of the Esplendor Resort in Rio Rico, AZ. The restaurant was not very busy which was nice since we had our 10 month old son with us. The margaritas were made very well. Our waiter was attentive and polite. The appetizer, a seafood sampler dish, was delicious. The bread was hot and tasty, but did not come out until the appetizer. The waiter kept our water glasses full and made sure we had all we needed. My husband and I both ordered the Tampiquena dish which was beef medallions with a chile rellano as well as rice and calabacitas on the side. My beef unfortunately had a lot of gristle in it, but still the flavor was still good. The calabacitas were tasty, but I still think La Olla in Tucson has the best. The chile rellano was also tasty, but it was hard to taste the chile pepper underneath the salsa verde it was covered with. Overall very good, but glad we had the restaurant.com certificate to off set the cost a bit. The views from the terrace and the tables near the window are lovely and definitely do not disappoint around sunset.
