My girlfriend and I just stayed here in cabin 19 and it was amazing! It was perfect. I know I’m a guy but it was very romantic. Everybody was so friendly and thankful and it made everything that more special. Thank you for allowing people to stay in such a lovely environment. I could not possibly recommend this place enough.

Third time we stayed here, nice staff, big rooms and good price. This place gets a lot of roughneck type workers and they were predictably loud, obnoxious, and chain smoking. Other two times we stayed things were better.

Friendly staff, great views, amazing food, and a fun little bar with a jukebox and pool tables!!

The hot water is definitely dialed down to about uncomfortably cool. Bring your own bottled water, because they do not provide any. The remodel of room number 1 was nice with the exception of paint on the ceiling light fixture. We heard the restaurant bar only had beer and wine and we were pleasantly surprised that they had a full bar. The restaurant and bar was okay, could use more exhaust fans, the bar food was par. The help in the restaurant was excellent, Mrs Lucy is an asset to the establishment. Currently they have military discount also 👍🏻

Fine place for visiting Rosevelt Lake. Solid Air BNB options in the neighborhood

Before going, I read all of the reviews and packed accordingly. The hotel is older, but very functional. We actually were surprised to find the beds comfortable. The room is definitely in need updating and although seemed mostly clean, definitely required wearing shoes at all times, including in the shower because it was just grungy. The pond is directly outback of a sliding glass door, which was really nice. We saw our neighbor catch a fairly large fish quickly. There was plenty of parking for our boat directly in front of the room. It felt like a safe neighborhood to leave our stuff outside. I would highly recommend ear plugs because you can easily hear conversations from anyone sitting on the patio near the pond late into the night. I would also recommend an eye mask because even though the window coverings are in decent shape, they let in quite a bit of light early in the morning. We brought a folding table which was very helpful in making our meals in the room. The microwave worked fine, but the refrigerator was a little underwhelming. We ended up leaving all of our stuff in the cooler because it didn’t feel overly cold even though we turned it up to the max setting. There is no freezer. Overall, it was very functional for what we needed as an inexpensive place to stay on a holiday weekend. We would likely return if we were to do this trip again.
Also, there is a bar and restaurant right next-door, which we did not eat at. However it looked like a happening place for the surrounding neighborhood. They had karaoke, pool tables, cornhole, and ski ball I believe.

Went here on a last minute trip to get away from phx with the family for the weekend and it was a great time. Nice rooms, beautiful pond, good location, super friendly staff. The kids working the office were professional and well mannered. The elder man (dad I assume) was very kind we had the room next to his and he greeted us each time we passed each other. Highly recommend the resort to anyone who wants a nice weekend away from the city. There is also a nice restaurant next door we went to for breakfast and portion sizes were huge. The pond is fishable (stocked with carp) it is catch and release but still a great time fishing or just sitting at the bench with your morning coffee or just before the sun goes down and watching the bats come to life and fill the night sky!

Just an excellent Roosevelt option, close to Apache lake as well, where we played for the day!

The best place you can ever go to when you're going to stay at rosevelt. They have a pond with plenty of carp, bass, bluegill, and catfish. The rooms are very welcoming, and the folk around are very kind
I wouldn't suggest fishing at night if you're scared of bats, but overall, it lives to its name.

The AC worked. Room floor was dirty.. Beds were clean.. Check in is 3PM to 5PM. It was a pain to get off the lake early to check in. They did not answer phone, messages or respond to email.
