The pork green chili is the best I've had!! This is a very casual, family owned restaurant. The family that owns this restaurant is amazing. My daughter and I went there on the day that one of our own family members passed away. Ramon saw that we were in distress. He actually got on his knees and prayed over us...what a blessing! This man is amazing! He has adopted several children from questionable circumstances. He works multiple jobs to support these children. I don't know what else to do other than ask you to please support Lupe's on north Oracle Rd. You will find a slow-paced, casual dining experience, with AMAZING food (I recommend the pork green chili). Please support this family that has adopted several new children and is working hard to make ends meet. Not only will you enjoy a relaxing dining experience, but excellent food as well! Lupe’s Fine Mexican Food is a diamond in the desert that serves authentic Mexican cuisine! Consistently good!! The food always comes hot, fast, always delicious. Great hot coffee! Just off the highway with incredible views of the beautiful Catalina Mountains. We have been coming here for years and absolutely love the owners Jackie and Ramon along with their hardworking and caring family who all work together and make you feel welcome and loved! I have lived in the Tucson area for over forty years and this is one of those mexican restaurants that screams authentic home cooking. I have had the privilege of eating home cooked mexican food more times than I can count. My last visit here has given rise to my now new favorite dish, chili relleno covered with their green chili stew. Yum!! I can still taste the flavors mingled together. Green chili, garlic, onion, tomato, extremely tender pork married with the queso filled, breaded poblano pepper with just the right amount of spiciness. I cannot wait to get back there and have this again!

Seriously?!? A To go order... It's just FRIES! and only 2 people in the store eating..and it took 20 minutes?!? If you're working in saddlebrook forget about coming HERE for lunch unless you have an HOUR

My family has been eating at Lupe's for years. It has been food made from the traditions of the long line of family members from the Globe/Miami area with a history of the best Mexican food anywhere so it's hard to write a somewhat negative review. As of the last two years or so the food has been inconsistent at best ranging from good to mediocre and back to good on occasion. Most of the time the food is lukewarm, the tacos don't taste fresh and the salsa which used to be a signature staple has degraded to flavored tomato sauce. My hope is that the current owners will take heed and try to capture the previous quality of delicious Mexican food.

There's original art for sale on the walls which is really cool. The food was fantastic. We got the E combo, tamale was delicious, the red chili and the beans were the star. The extra hot hot sauce is soooo worth the $3 for a serving. So good. The server was working her butt off but maintained a friendly manner. Well definitely be back!
