Frontier Steak & Spirits

My husband and I went for dinner last night and enjoyed our meal. I had a steak (cooked perfectly) and my husband had the ribs. Our waitress (Kathy) was great. The shoe string fries and asparagus were delicious. Definitely recommend!

Went in for lunch the other day. Had a BLT and fries and my husband had the chicken tenders. Definitely some of the best lunch we have had in a while! And great prices!!! Definitely recommend and will be going back!

First time here, like the atmosphere and the company that works here, good laughs and good drinks. Enjoyable night for everyone.

Highly recommend this place to anyone wondering. I don't understand the bad reviews, I had excellent service and the pleasure of indulging in one of the best and most well done steaks I've ever had!! 10 out of 10 what a turnaround!!!

These are the ORIGINALS! THE best steak I have ever tasted and my husband's ribs were divine!! Excellent drink selection, SUPERIOR service, and the ambiance is unmatched locally. So blessed to have found our new -go to- spot for birthdays and anniversaries. Thank you for the amazing meal and memory!

I had the green chili burger with steak fries—it was delicious! It might just be the best burger in town. The steak fries were excellent too.

My wife ordered the salmon with a loaded baked potato and Brussels sprouts. The salmon was cooked perfectly, the potato was great, and she absolutely loved the Brussels sprouts.

We’ll definitely be back!

The steak and fries lunch special absolutely hit the spot! Steak cooked on mesquite to perfection! And I gotta add that the horseradish is the best I’ve had in this town! Owners and staff are very friendly, welcoming, and down to earth! Make you feel right at home! Thinkin about making it my daily lunch spot. Thanks yall for the drinks and great lunch. See yall soon! April at Frontier Steaks is amazing. She always remembers us as well as our drink order. Her bubbly personality and memory like an elephant makes me happy to bring my family in. The BOSS is a MASON and that gives my heart a smile. Thank you Frontier.

I have no idea why it's apparently so difficult for Safford to have a winning streak house.
While the name has changed from Copper Steer, the dismal service and failed inventory control practices of the past just can't seem to raise to the challenge of the new opportunity.
It's not about perfection, it's about your best effort. I want to experience three things when I eat out. I want to be TREATED and made to feel as a valued guest. I want to dine on a meal that l can't produce in my own kitchen. I want to experience the ambiance of someplace better then l routinely receive at home.
Unfortunately, apparently by design, Frontier Steak & Spirits has carried over the Copper Steer's failed strengths of continuing bad service, mediocre out of stock food with a lovely balcony view.
While I'm still hopeful that some day Safford will finally get a winning streak house, unfortunately Frontier currently isn't it.
Perhaps I'd feel completely different had I received your best effort, but that simply wasn't the case.

Parking: Ample and abundant on-site parking is available while visiting this establishment. Unfortunately while the lot is large, it can often fill to capacity.

Kid-friendliness: Highchairs are available while visiting this establishment.

This place is amazing but their food is really not great. We just moved here and was excited to try their chicken fried steak special. I ordered it to go as we were in the middle of moving. When I got home and opened the container the corn juice watered down the gravy or the gravy was already just that thin. The breading just fell off. No seasoning, no flavor to it at all. The corn was good but I ended up throwing away the meal.

We always ask for Michal when we can as when she’s available upstairs. Her service is phenomenal. Very attentive and always makes sure we’re well taken care of!
