I was looking for some authentic tacos when I was on my travels through Safford. Found this place with good reviews and a really friendly staff. Wow, I was blown away with the flavors and value. Tried the "beef head" tacos, pork, chicken and shrimp etc. Shrimp weren't my flavor for the day, but those beef head tacos were amazing. Atmosphere isn't exactly a "I want to bring my family to dine in" type, but worked for me on the road.
The food is great. The meat quality was better than most Mexican restaurants I've had. Definitely cooked in seasoned the same day, if not right before. They are cash only, hopefully they can get moving to card soon
Foods usually always good. Tonight though my order was all messed up. I'm pretty sure I got charged for extras I didn't get. Also was minus a tortilla with the carne asada plate which is usually standard. Guys cooking the food clearly not paying attention to the order. Pretty bummed I tipped them after all that. With the cost of food right now, it really sucks when they don't give you everything you ordered the way you ordered it.
