We reserve ordered two Take Out Prime Rib Dinners. The beef portions were generous and, as prime rib should be, arrived medium rare. Sadly, one meal arrived cold. The Baked Potato was so cold the butter would not melt. The meat was barely warm. Even though we preordered two days in advance and arrived at the specified time for pick up, we still had to wait about 15 minutes for our order. This place is that busy on Prime Rib days. We called within 5 minutes of receiving our order and had to leave a message to let then know the problem. We received a call the next day with an apology and a credit for the cold meal. $hit happens and the business took care of us.. We will check our order before leaving next time. We would rather have had hot food than a credit.

For a small country restaurant, it holds its own against any others. The prime rib was cooked to perfection, and the portion was perfect. Baked potato, green beans, and salad complimented the meal very well. Despite a very full house, the service was outstanding. You can't go wrong dining here.

01/04/25. My brother and I had breakfast this morning at Black Rock Cafe. I had the "Homemade Strawberry Vanilla Yorgert," and my brother had the Chicken Fried Steak , eggs, and hashbrowns.
Both meals were very good and very filling. Did i mention that the bottomless cup of coffee is hot and fresh, and someone is always there to refill your cup.
Prices are very competitive, and the amount of food you are served is amazing as their portions are huge! Go there hungry, you won't be disappointed.
The waitresses are always checking up on you to ensure everything is the way you like it, if there's anything you need, and if you're doing ok.
The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed it almost feels like you're having a meal with your family and friends, mostly because you are!
If you haven't been to Ramona's "Black Rock Cafe," I'm very sorry because you're missing out on a great meal, great service, and a good time.

I can't eat it too often because of the cholesterol, but every once in a while liver and onions really hits the spot. Two large slices smothered in onions with mashed potatoes on the side, a salad and dinner roll all for 12.99. It's hard to beat!!

I normally love this place. Today was a different story. I know that they were busy. We came in and waited 15-20 minutes just to have our order taken. After waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes to receive our order, we got up and walked out. Never before have we had such atrocious service here.

I and 2 friends went there in mid December. We got seated and got our drinks. After 45 minutes I asked to be moved to a different table so someone would actually take our order. We were THEN assigned a waitress and got our fish dinners. We were there an hour and 20 minutes until we walked out done. They will get 1 more chance from me. Your experience may differ from mine. 😉😁
