Nestled on the west end of the City of San Luis, Arizona is this small inviting coffee shop. The beans are harvested in Mexico and roasted right here in the Desert Southwest.Colorado River Valley Roasters has some amazing flavors all inspired by the Sonoran Desert. Their coffee is perfect for any coffee lover. They sell it ready to be grinded, grinded or in a k-cup.

I found out about this business at our local food festival walked by it 2 times on my third time i had to stop because it smelled so good. The owner was busy so i waited and there was this lady that said Yo tomo cafe 3 veses al dia y este cafe que estoy probando es descafeinado y esta super rico y yo soy experta en el cafe porque me gusta mucho tomar cafe. So i waited for my turn for a sample and then asked to sample another one and it was super good just on its own with nothing in it so it was a great recommendation by the expert that recommended it to me. Will definitely be stopping by to buy more.

I took a Paint and Coffee class here (shout out to local artist, Daniel Padilla) and discovered a way to brew coffee I never knew about! The owner, Luis Huizar, is a chemist who puts his knowledge to work. He brews over a flame using a siphon. Well worth a visit to just watch him brew, and for those who love coffee, well worth the drive.
